Little bit of an upgrade from my previous boom arm I purchased a while back. Def more sturdier than my old one. Fits on my bootleg desk for my console streaming. Works perfectly good and it does not feel cheap. Good value for your money as well. This boom arm is a needed upgrade after testing out the cheaper boom arm I had. I forgot to mention this boom arm does not have springs for when extending/adjusting it out. So that is an upgrade worth mentioning. No springs means it will last a lot longer than boom arms with springs Read more

I recently purchased the FIFINE Microphone Arm Stand (BM-63) for my recording setup, and I’m extremely impressed with its quality and functionality. The stand is heavy-duty and feels very sturdy, even when fully extended. It’s made of durable materials that feel like they’ll last a long time. The adjustable scissor arm design is fantastic, allowing me to easily position my microphone exactly where I need it. The desk mount is secure and easy to install, and the included cable ties help keep my setup organized and tidy. I use this stand for recording, gaming, and streaming, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a high-quality microphone arm stand for your setup, I highly recommend the FIFINE BM-63! Read more

Had some initial problems, but got in contact with Fifine support and they were extremely helpful. Still definitely not everything I wanted in a boom arm for $40, but I value good support for the products I own, so that adds back quite a bit in my book. Product itself might require some adjustment out of the box (will require a small hex tool to make any adjustments) but once you've got it setup, it looks better than any of the cheaper arms out there, is more stable, and generally has a higher build quality. Again, not what I'd consider perfect, but certainly a step up from the cheaper $15-$20 boom arms out there. At this point, just given how easy it was to get support from Fifine directly, I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice quality boom arm. Worst case, if you run into problems, they'll be able to get them sorted out. Read more

I bought this to use with a somewhat heavier microphone and it's working perfectly. Installation was quick and easy, and it's able to hold the mic weight with no problems at all. It can be a little bit stiff when it comes to adjusting the position, but I don't mind that at all. Frankly, I think it helps keep it in place better so it isn't falling or sliding down. Very happy with it. Read more

The arm is sturdy, and makes almost no noise when adjusting. It holds my mic on a steady position perfectly, however there is one flaw in the arm which I partially attribute to user error as I do move the mic and adjust the mic position a lot. The rod the mic threads to is connected to the arm with a plastic fastener that is adjustable with a screw. it can be tightened and loosened to adjust the rod position for the mic. The plastic piece happened to crack and a piece broke off of it and left the rod looser and probably prone to failure sooner or later. Quite the bummer as I have no other complaints about the boom arm, and I had only received it 9 days prior to the breakage. it’s good for the price and doesn’t make any noise but the one flaw leaves this a 3 stars for me. I do attribute this to my own fault moving and readjusting the tightness and movement probably caused it to break and if you don’t do these things it’ll probably be just fine for you as long as you don’t over tighten the screw. I hate external spring loaded boom arms. I have long hair and there's nothing worse than leaning over and ripping out a bunch of your hair, or seeing big wads tangled up in the springs--not only does this make your desk look trashy but it also severely impacts the effectiveness of the boom arm. Most scissor-style boom arms cost an arm and a leg, but this one caught my eye, especially as I also have a FiFine microphone. Right out of the box I was very surprised at how firm and secure the arms were. I'm not a bodybuilder or anything, but just opening the thing definitely took some pushing; which is awesome because the last thing you want is weak arms. It included some cable ties as well to keep my cables out of my face. And it's widely compatible with several mics. It has incredible reach as well. If I had any complaints, its that the bottom rung may be a bit *too* firm for my liking. I was afraid I was breaking it while trying to open it up to reposition it. In order to loosen it I had to adjust from the top rung and use the upper portion as a lever to readjust the bottom rung specifically. I won't take a star off for this though, as I definitely appreciate how secure this boom arm is. Read more
