I bought REVIT CROSSROADS JACKET FOR $549.99, and Dainese Bardo $419.99. Then came the sale and I was curious and bought First Manufacturing CUTLESS jacket and this one. Total cost still cheaper than the above two. I returned the above two and I kept the cutless and I will be keeping this one. ( need to exchange this one for a minor issue, but over all quality and jacket is great) D30 level two fits well in shoulders and elbows. Alpinestars nuclei Small level two back protector fits perfect or get the level two by first manufacturing. Believe it or not lol... I am 44 chest and i fit in small perfectly, remember these leather jackets will contour to your body and will stretch by a size. Liner is amazing, and I like it that it is cut off before the end of cuffs and does not zip separately. I wish there were epaulets installed on this, so I could have the THE WILD ONE look.... oh well... get this and you wont be disappointed. The minor issue I have with this one is that the right cuff is tighter than my left, as shown in the pic. This happens, no biggie will exchange. I love this jacket. Read more

This is my third jacket style from First Manufacturing. Their leather is just buttery soft and smooth. The jacket itself is heavy and great. If your looking for a heavy weight jacket thay feels and looks great look no further. Solid purchase through and through Read more

Such a great jacket I ordered a second one. Very thick leather and great coat for a quarter of the price of similar quality jackets. If youβre looking for a heavy duty, thick leather motorcycle jacket, you found it! Read more

The problem I have with clothes is I have very long monkey arms and a 45 inch chest but a 31 inch waist so, when I find clothes to fit my upper body, the stomach area is huge. Or, if the stomach area fits good, then the sleeves fit half way up my arm, they are way too short!!! I originally bought the large and it works well with a thick vest or hoodie but also just got the medium and it works well with just a thin shirt underneath. Read more

This is a bad ass retro looking jacket. Iβve always love the style for my Harley. Does not come with pads, so youβll have to buy the armor if you want it. But overall the quality of leather and the look is fantastic. I had to get one size larger than I would typically have in a jacketβ¦ The sleeves ran kind of short, but I am 6β 5β and 250lbs. Sizing: The sleeves are shorter than advertised and the waist is larger than advertised. The overall shape is very boxy and not at all slim-fitting like the pictures suggest. The belt is way too long. Judging by the size guide, it seems to be intended for a 4XL jacket rather than the XL I ordered. Material: The leather is not drum-dyed naked leather as advertised, it's pigment painted instead. The leather is far too soft and far too thin. It seems like it would get shredded up in a motorcycle accident. The manufacturer included a hanger with the jacket for some reason, and the hanger scratched the jacket up a bit during shipping. How am I supposed to trust this thing with my life when it's losing a fight with a plastic hanger? This company clearly doesn't take either safety or craftsmanship seriously. If you like the look of it, and you have a round body type, it might be worth considering as a fashion item. But if you are looking for a serious hard-wearing leather jacket, this isn't it. Read more

This is the second jacket from First Mfg that I've tried. The first one, the Superstar, had thin lightweight bad feeling leather. This Fillmore has nicer feeling leather but is still a low end $80 leather jacket costing $250. The company explicitly told me the extra large sizes DO NOT have a center seam down the spine, a sign of cheap small hides rather than whole size hides. This was a lie, it does have the seam. The leather feels nice, but it's thickness is ridiculously inconsistent throughout and gets very thin in places for such a high price. The grain is badly mismatched. One shoulder is longer than the other and sticks out. The sleeves are RIDICULOUSLY long, a complaint I've never had to give to a motorcycle jacket before. The sleeves are as if they came off a tall size jacket. And they're way too wide at the wrist. Even With the zipper closed a whole fist can slide through. The manufacturing is cheap as can be. The zip out liner was already coming apart from the jacket on the left side. Didn't even get to wear this outside once. Oh and the slash pockets are NOT lined with leather, just cheap polyester. You can get the same jacket for $100 from Xelement or Milwaukee Leather. Read more
