No, I’m not kidding. I don’t know whether to be annoyed or delighted that this sleep mask I picked up for 10 bucks has already outperformed the one I got for ten times that, but there you have it. The Manta Pro sleep mask has always had extremely unreliable Velcro, to the point where I literally ended up sewing more robust hoop-and-loop patches onto the straps. In addition, Manta’s eye cups are over-engineered in such a way that I’ve never been able to get the pressure right while maintaining total blackout— and that’s before the CPAP mask gets involved! And of course, readjusting means removing, disassembling, and reassembling the whole thing. This “Fismool” mask bypasses the velcro issue entirely, as the eye cups are designed to slide along the strap. Not only are they in no danger of falling off or changing alignment in the middle of the night, but you can adjust the fit WHILE STILL WEARING the mask, which is crucial for CPAP users. The materials are soft and extremely comfortable. The strap is light and stretchy and features strong Velcro, so there’s no danger of the mask coming unfastened if you roll over too enthusiastically. This thing is both lightweight and easily portable (I love the travel case it came with). You can easily achieve a total blackout, even as a side sleeper. I think this is the best design for CPAP users I’ve ever seen, and it’s a design I haven’t seen any other company use. It arrived smelling a little perfume-y, but I expect that to wear off eventually. As for the quality, I’m fully expecting it to have to sew it back together eventually given the low price. But it was still worth the purchase even if only for “parts.” Read more

I am 100% blown away with this sleep mask! I’ve had lots of trouble sleeping for the past few years. I generally fall asleep around 11:30 at night – but then my husband comes to bed about an hour later and sits with his iPad – it glows in the dark and this wakes me up; then I can’t get back to sleep without some difficulty. Either way, it’s an interruption which disturbs my sleep cycle. So I saw something on TikTok that suggested that everyone should sleep in complete darkness. So I began researching sleep masks, watching people on YouTube and reading Amazon reviews (which I am so thankful for)! Originally I had purchased the Alaska Bear ($30) because of all the great reviews, but it didn’t work for me. It pressed down on my eyes and nose and I couldn’t breathe, and it made me feel claustrophobic. It was huge, and covered my entire upper face, going up above my hairline and it slid around while I slept and became very hot – just awful –I was grateful that Amazon allowed me to return it! But THIS – the one with the funny name (“Fismool”) is probably the best sleep mask EVER MADE! I wore it for the first time last night and had pretty much the best sleep of my life. Zero light gets in, it’s small and lightweight. Doesn’t interfere with breathing – doesn’t get hot. Stays in place. The little squishy ‘eyes cups’ can be adjusted closer together or father apart depending on the size of your face. It stays in place all night. I just can’t say enough good things about this sleep mask! I put it on and never even realized when my husband came to bed! Research OVER, mission accomplished! Update: 7/1/25 - I’d knock a star off of this review if I could… It’s still fabulous, but unfortunately, the Velcro strap fastener is ripping my hair out if I move around too much in my sleep! The spikey part is facing the back of my head - if it had been constructed to join the opposite way (facing out away from my head), it might work out better. So my solution was to wrap a bandage around the spikey part of the Velcro that is exposed and not being utilized to fasten the strap. That will have to do. I know there is a new modern “Velcro” alternative, though I am not sure what it’s called. Too bad the manufacturer didn’t chose to use this instead. But I suppose they would have to charge more for the product then…. Oh well…. Read more

This fits well with my resmed n20 “for her” CPAP nasal mask. Stop light and air leaks that give dry eye. It took 4 other mask purchases to find this one. It is light weight, soft, and not hot. It may not last forever but it will work well for the price I won’t mind replacing it later. I love that the eye pieces are small and don’t come to far down my nose and face and that they can move in and out as needed to fit around my cpap mask. Read more

I bought this eye mask for my boyfriend and he loves it. The Velcro is a great addition and he sleeps better because it does block out light. It fits him comfortably with the cap machine he uses and it’s made of good material. Read more

This mask is SO comfortable and really makes it dark! I sleep so well with it! The carrying case is so convenient too! The material is soft and you barely feel it. the strap is secure, but not restrictive. I love the fact the individual eye peices are adjustable! Read more

This mask is comfortable, truly light-blocking without being invasive, and easy to wear. The individual eye cups are soft and seal gently, they adjust spacing easily by sliding along the band, and the band design allows my face to breath (which is important during hot summer nights). I actually bought these as an affordable stop-gap before trying an $85 dry-eye mask... but the results surprised me- I hated the expensive mask (which never would seal right) and strongly preferred this mask for it's comfort & effectiveness. I hope to get a couple of back-ups and another for my husband to try. I've already washed the cups in a washing machine and air-dried them for cleanliness & it worked great! Read more

This is the best eye mask for my nasal cushion cpap. The first few nights I received a 100% score on the app for use with my cpap. This eye mask goes around my neck first; then a regular eye mask with headphones; then the cpap is put on as usual; this eye mask goes on my eyes; and the regular eyemask with headphones covers this eye mask. The fismool eye mask keeps the air from the cpap from drying out my eyeballs. UPDATE: Still the best I've tried, but the velcro adjustment in the back needs to be longer b/c I'm getting to the point where I'll need to tie it in a knot too tighten it. Read more
