Like many who came before me, I discovered these at my gym. The first time I had one I thought they tasted weird. Then I had another. Then another. Then...you get it. These make me feel much better post-workout (WOD). They seem to aid in recovery and my overall physical disposition following a WOD, especially the grinders where you just get through it 1 rep/round at a time. I recommend these for anyone who can handle them. I say that because my wife cannot drink these without experiencing reflux. In fairness, she has that same issue with another popular post-workout/recovery drink which shall remain nameless (it-that-shall-not-be-named). I have never experienced this issue. I'm strung out on these. Taste great and I recover so much faster, SERIOUSLY! When I hike, which is often, I pack food and take two of these badboys when out for the day. I am able to go out that night and not feel fatigued when my hiking buddies are struggling to keep up. It's a good way to get in some simple carbs, moderate caffeine, and it even has CoQ10!? Not sure if any of the ingredients are at high enough levels to have significant impacts but it works well for me. I also consume 150-250mg of caffeine a day so 90mg from two cans is not particularly much or significant for me... I also consume these before or after workouts on the regular. Read more
