5/9/23 UPDATE: It can definitely write/record past 128gb on the 1TB micro SD card i got for it. I've used over 231GB so far since i last formatted the card. SEE PICS This only took me about 10 minutes to install. There is a great video on youtube for the Corolla hatchback about 15 min long, by another user of it that shows you where the clips are and how to take it off (russian accent i think) Video quality is great, sounds if great. It allows 1-3 minute recording loops. Video quality is from 1440p to 4k so you can downgrade it if needed for better FPS and less storage space. It says 128GB mamimum micro SD card but those specs are false many times on dash cams. I got a 1TB micro SD card, and it detected and formatted the full 1TB. For your own sake, please buy a Lightning to Micro SD adapter or Type C to micro adapter for android/iphone, to instantly view and watch all videos right off the SD card. My only gripe and i won't fault the product, is using WIFI to connect to it and change settings & get videos. It's extremely slow, constantly doesn't connect. You must turn on "auto-join" for it's WIFI and turn off "auto-join" for any wireless carplay/android auto, to make it stay connected. Just change all settings back when you're down The only time you'd be connecting to the WIFI of the dash cam is to usually download/watch videos. Avoid using WIFI to see the videos, just buy the Micro SD card adapter instead. It takes nothing to eject the SD card and see everything right on your phone with no delay using the Adapter in the Files app I wanted to go into detail there because most reviews aren't describing this or giving better advice. The media could not be loaded. Very easy to install and config it in the car, best part no tangling wires, no distractions or loose ends hanging on the car. I reviewed the videos and footages, with audio & without audio recordings..Both are excellent in my view. Product quality is good and video recordings are too good..Smooth and straight.. App interface is simple and easy to use. These are snaps taken during driving to see how the quality on different lighting conditions, in all those it gave very good view despite very low lighting and dense fog, raining etc.. Read more
Works well and good clarity of videos. Note others: You cannot use this while connected to apple car play. You must disconnect the apple car play to best connect to the camera. Read more
Bought this a couple years ago, worked for the ~first month and I always saw the light come on and haven’t been in a accident so I never felt the need to open it up, but it turns out it just hasn’t been working for years. Went through all the trouble shooting in the manual and the WiFi will not show. Read more
I've had other cams with a lot more features for less money, but I really liked the OEM style appearance of this cam. The material of the camera housing blends nicely with the interior. Picture quality is adequate and comparable with similarly priced cameras. I gave it 3/5 stars for the lack of features and the fact that I dislike needing an app to adjust settings. However, I was able to uninstall the app after adjusting the settings and see no further need for the app. I also understand that the lack of features may have been due in part to the objectives in designing for a specific appearance. Things like additional buttons and a built-in display would have been difficult to incorporate at the current price point. Bonus star for responsive customer service! Super easy install, took about 2 minutes to install. The app isn't annoying. You don't need to make an account or anything, just connect and use. They also include a microSD/SD card to usbA and usbC adapter. The camera quality is really good both in 4k and 1440p. You can download and manage videos from the app, as well as through your computer. Read more
Easy install on a 22 Corolla and it does look OEM. The video quality is OK, certainly nothing to brag about, but it's a dashcam (enough said). Easy connection from the app, but downloading videos takes a bit of time, so it would be faster to look at them from a PC. My main concern is that it's pricey for what it is, which is basically a small camera housed inside a big piece of plastic. About half the current price would probably be more like it. Read more
