Fitcamx 4K Dash Cam Suitable for Volvo XC90 2016-2022 T5 T6 T8 Model A Integrated OEM Style UHD

Very easy to install on 2022 XC90. Snap off the bottom plastic piece behind the mirror then unplug the factory Volvo power cable. Hint: You will need a pair of needle nose pliers to squeeze the pigtail release. Connect the Y-connector on both ends and stuff the extra cable into the overhead console. The camera for the 2022 XC90 is integrated into the bottom piece so all you now have to do is snap the bottom piece back into place. Connecting the Android app to the camera via the camera's built-in wi-fi was a snap. Video and sound quality are good. Camera looks factory installed with no exposed cable. Great find! Read more

This item appears to be high quality and fits like OEM. Never done this before but took less than 20 minutes to install and setup program to begin recording using only the tool and 64G mini SD card provided. Easily connected to iPhone using App downloaded from App Store. Camera turns on/off with car and automatically records. So far so good. Read more

After being a bit hesitant due to the cost compared to most other dash cam's, I'm impressed with how easy it was to install and how factory it looks. I would love to see an update to the app to allow settings to be changed on the camera to make it more customizable. Also, my biggest complaint I have is the flashing lights on the bottom are obnoxious during nighttime driving; an option in the settings to disable those would be wonderful but a small piece of electrical tape in my case was a quick fix. The customer service team is quickly responsive. I'm definitely considering buying a couple more for additional vehicles I have. Read more

Installation was pretty simple and I love that it is plug and play, looks factory installed. Hopefully it is actually recording, I guess I won’t really know until I have an accident. I don’t have an indicator light that it’s on and ready to go, so that worries me. The app is somewhat difficult to deal with, plus you have to turn off auto join on all other wifi/bluetooth connections or it won’t stay connected to the camera. I’d love a test function to make sure it actually works. Also a huge bummer that I did not receive an SD card, I had to pay for one separately as I was leaving for a trip. Definitely took away from the value, SD cards aren’t cheap! Read more
