Fitcamx 4K Dash Cam Suitable for Lexus UX 2019-2024 UX200 250 Luxury F Sport OEM Style UHD 2160P

Got this for my Lexus UX 250H .This dashcam does what they claim very well. Install was easy (except the overhead console was stuck in there like King Kong) The installation looks like OEM. Video quality (on max) is good except that in low light the colors get kind of funky but the stoplight colors are still evident. There is no video compression, so the files (3minutes long) are very big; much too big for email. I am not getting sound on playback. Could be my goof, but I don't care. File download to my phone on its self-generated network is VERY slow. A mini USB port would have been nice. Contrary to the FAQ answers, it does conflict with wireless Android Auto. I have to pull the USB cable to the AA adapter to link to the camera. In its location (at least on my Lexus) it is not protected by the window sunshade and gets damn hot. I modified a sunshade with a a cloth bra for the camera to keep the sun off it. The mini SD card uses one of those fragile spring loaded card slots. If (when) it breaks it's game over. I got $5 SD slot extender to save wear on the port. Compared to universal cams it seems overpriced, but then again they have to make a large number of physically different variants, and it really does match the car interior, so I guess it"s worth it. I am only on day one with the dashcam, but I had to give kudos to the initial setup, which was literally plug and play for the front facing camera as well as the sleek design of the assembly. The camera is not visible when you are driving so it won't obstruct your view. From the outside, it just looks like part of the car naturally and nothing insane. I love it! It was easy to install. All I had to do was pop out the OEM cover, pop in the camera plugin all the wires that connect directly to the OEM harness, no splicing or wire cutting or making new connection or routing cables to the battery or fuse box. Once installed it looks totally OEM! It has a good and clear audio and video. Connecting to the camera is as simple as connecting to any wifi. I don't believe is a good value for the money, there are better cameras at much lower price. Overall, I like the way it looks in my Lexus, I love that I don't have to deal with wires and my charging ports are free. if you are looking for something that will look and fit as OEM for your Lexus UX, this is for you. I received this and installed it in under 10 minutes. The video showing installation is all you need to get this installed. Everything fits neat and tight--no gaps and everything fits securely. The quality of the plastic looks similar to the original so it doesn't look like anything is installed aftermarket. The camera started recording as soon as I connected power. I pulled some sample footage from my drive around the block and everything looks clear and the colors are correct. I purchased a 128 GB microSD and it's working fine after formatting it through the app. Definitely go for the 4K resolution over the lower option. App is fine after playing with it for a few minutes.
