I've had a Flippy before; and really liked it. It stood the test of time as it is well constructed. Thereafter I've purchased five other brands, two I gave away (didn't really like them) one I kept and it was just ok. The last two one's holder leadges are too shallow & the last one (I just returned) was too flimsy and cost the same as the Flippy! The Flippy has 3 ample ridges / angles to suit your preferences. Even works well on your stomache when laying down - which I really enjoy. Good for phones and tablets. Neededless to say for my liking I should never tried to buy any other brand. This new one even has a zipcord inside protected pouch so you can store something - even glasses - should you like. Has a hsnd strap too. The extra few dollars are well worth it! A great product. Packaged well. Lots of choices in color / design. Almost identical to one I've had for years. Perfect for holding my iPad at home and when traveling. The design makes it easy to grasp and carry. This is One of the best purchases I have ever made in regards to my ability to read while reading my KINDLE!! I just rest it anywhere and I can read my Kindle sideways or straight up. This is just what I was looking for. I have a 12" tablet that needs a larger pillow for support. I first purchased a Lamicall brand that was too small, and that was even one of the larger ones listed. It even said it would hold a 13" tablet, yet it did not even hold up my 12. My tablet would fall over backwards and the grooves were not deep enough to hold the tablet in place. I don't have either of those problems with this design. The tablet stays in place in all three available angles and I like how they designed the angles with the triangle shape. Some reviews state that the older version Flippy was even larger, but this model is plenty big for me and my tablet. The pocket is a bonus, perfect for my Bluetooth page turner ring! The fabric is of nicer quality than the Lamicall, and the foam is very sturdy and well shaped. Unlike my first purchase and unlike many other models (from what I read), this does not ship flat in a vacuum sealed bag. Which in turn ruins the pillows shape and permanently wrinkles the fabric.
