All plastic construction but a much more durable plastic than anything I’ve had before. Most were from Walmart or Target, but this surpasses them all by leaps and bounds. The base is solid, even on carpet and with the 5 liter capacity, it holds firmly in place. Operation: 5 stars across the board. You can operate the whole unit on the front of it or use the included remote which has all the same features as the device itself. As I mentioned before, the 5 liter capacity seems to last forever. Especially when using the humidity control. It has a built in humidistat which maintains the perfect level of humidity in the room. This way it’ll increase or decrease the output with this setting. It puts out a superfine mist due to the ultrasonic tech. It’s surprisingly quiet. As in silent. I can’t hear it run at all and if it wasn’t for the visible mist from the output tube, I wouldn’t know it was running. There is an “aroma tray” where you can add a few drops of essential oil. Nag Champa. If you know, you know. Appearance: I love it personally. It’s classy and looks good enough to sit out in the open where it resembles a piece of neo-modern artwork. The elongated output tube allows for better distribution while looking great as well. You’ll either love the look or not. As far as humidifiers go, this one is great. It’s very easy to assemble with very well thought out j instructions. The water capacity is amazing, easily lasting 2 days. I didn’t hear a single sound from it, and not can it emit some nice vaporized water. It’s very easy to disassemble and clean, and the functions are simple and straightforward. The media could not be loaded. I rely on a humidifier in the winter for relieving dry air discomfort and managing cold symptom. , It’s a must have for living in the desert. This is an effective humidifier with variable speed and multi-level control, providing customized humidity control to suit different needs. Even with the smallest mist, I feel the difference within minutes. I really like the quietness and the large capacity. I turn it on at night and forget it. There is no weird beeping noise to interrupt my sleep. When the water level is low, it shuts off automatically. It has a five(!) liter capacity which can last for up to 48 hours. That said, the design isn’t really convenient. The whole setting just feels a bit awkward when you have to take the middle section out each time when you need to refill it with water. You have to flip it upside down, unscrew the cap and screw the cap back on after filling. I worried that the water would leak out if I don’t screw the cap tight enough. In this regard, I rather prefer FOHERE’s other five liter model, which is much easier to use. On the bottom section, there is a little tray which can be pulled out for filling with essential oil. The digital panel works well either by touch or via the remote. The aesthetic of this model takes some getting used to, but if you want to mist up your dry nose, the nozzle shape is perfect. 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5. Read more

This humidifier has an interesting look. I can’t say I love the design of it or the way it looks in my house. However as a humidifier it works good. It has a good capacity, you fill it up with a removable tank. It also has an essential oil spot so you can add scent to your humidified air. The controls are easy to understand and use. So far I’ve been using it on the humidity sensing mode and it’s been keeping my moisture levels nice for the winter. It’s very very quiet. I don’t notice it operating ever unless I see the air coming out of the top. I think it’s a great humidifier. The look is the only bit I don’t love. This humidifier works really well and does a good job keeping the air in my room comfortable. The 5-liter tank lasts a long time, and I like that it has a humidity sensor and different speed settings. The aroma box is a nice touch for adding scents. This is quite a large humidifier, and it has a nice aesthetic since it will be very visible in your space. We use it in our large family room and it definitely helps keep the air less dry. Several members of our family deal with dry skin in the winter months, so this is helpful for us. It is bottom loading, which is not my favorite, as they are trickier to clean. It does have a button to control the output (low, medium, high) but it seems like the flow is always the same. I haven't tested it out much, but it works for our needs. Read more
