I always try every product with a deeply critical eye. And I have owned at least 5 other humidifiers over the years, all with varying levels of quality. This one is tops. Let's start with the water tank. Refilling is simple. It holds a ton of water, way more than I thought at first glance, and it has a nice built in handle that makes it easy to carry. The tank is well balanced, so as long as you don't go past the fill line, it's really stable and unlikely to splash carrying it across rooms. Getting it lined up and put back together was easy too. The handle folds back in under the top cover, so you can't even see it. And it fills from the top! No more tank flipping, unscrewing stuff, cross threading the cap, none of that nonsense. The top cover just drops in place. Perfect. They thought of everything when it comes to features. Sleep mode, timer, set and forget humidity level, everything. You can turn off the beep easily enough if you (like me) can't stand appliances that beep. And all of the features that are available on the control panel are available on the remote too. Perfect. The remote is brilliant. Big chunky rubber buttons you can use in the dark. Forgot to turn the lights on the control panel off? Click. Want to turn the night light on? Click. Operation? Almost silent. The low setting can run all night and I barely heard so much as a gurgle. And at least on low, it can run for days without a refill. I have not yet needed to clean it, but I can see it will be simple when the time comes. The tank is pretty open design, so you can get in there with a sponge or a brush, and the bottom portion is also easy access for cleaning. Perfect. Being in the desert / mountains, humidifiers are a must have! In the hot summer because the air is so dry and long cold winter because the heater or fireplace is always going! This one is definitely high on the list, enough so that I do recommend it! It is very quiet - practically silent. - Very important. Large, easy to fill holding tank. Very important. You can change the direction you wish to aim it at. Very important. Options to controls how humid you want and no lights on at night. Easy and intuitive instruction that you could use the remote or actual panel. I did deduct a star because I feel that the quality is not good in the handle. The plastic seems like it would snap off when carrying it after filling it with water. Also, the mist doesn't go that far as I wish it would. Leaving it on all day or night will add moisture to the room but if you just want it on your face or bed at night only, you have to have it pretty close. Are either of these deal breakers? No! I still highly recommend this product and will be getting another for the other rooms in the house! Read more

This is such an upgrade to other humidifiers I've had in the past. It has a very large reservoir for water. It is so easy to refill. You just pull the top cover off and it reveals a handle then you can take to the sink and refill. It really is that easy. It makes no noise that I can hear. It does have an option to add a scent as well which is nice. It seems to be very well made compared to other humidifiers I have had. The display is bright and provides a lot of information I need. It lets me know the current level of humidity in the house. It also shows whether it is on low, medium, or high. It shows the timer function and whether it needs more water or not. I like how you can direct what direction the mist sprays. You can aim it away from furniture and electronics and more to the center of the room allowing me to place it just about anywhere I need to. I really enjoy the lights it emits under the display. It gives it a relax kind of vibe. It has been an essential part of keeping the humidity up in the house. This help keeps heating costs down when the humidity level is up. I feel it will more than pay for itself in heat cost savings. Read more

I ordered this for my toddler boys that share a large bedroom. In the winter, the air is so dry that they wake up with clogged noses, which can make mornings cranky. This is quiet, increases the humidity from 40% to 50% (measured using a remote temperature sensor I have, I haven't paid attention to what the front of this reads when running) on the lowest setting in the large bedroom, and has a Night Mode that turns off all of the display lights. Quick notes: - Hold the power button on the unit (not the remote) to turn off the beeps. - The timer works great, it turn it on after my boys are down and have it run for 8 hours and turn off -The tank gets me about 3 nights on the lowest settings when full - The remote is easy to use, the buttons easy to decipher -It has a night light, haven't used it. it also has a Night Time mode and one button press on the remote turns off the lights -it doesn't remember the output setting (low, medium, high) for the next day when I set it up again. Mildly annoying, but it only takes 2 button presses to set it, so no big deal -I haven't used the auto mode where it runs based on the measured humidity level -It's fairly quiet on all setting, but the lowest setting is barely a hum and works fine for my needs -I haven't tried adding any essential oils to it or whatever.
