I had a phone car mount from temu which was around $10 and was a piece of junk. Never stayed clipped to the vent every turn I make it goes flying. This car mount is amazing!! It’s MagSafe so the phone stays clipped and mounted nicely, the way it’s designed you can clip it to the air vent and tighten the middle section so it’s clipped tight to the vent and stays put. After a year plus of use, it still holds up. The latch mechanism is great because it uses a tightening hook to connect to the car vent, where most phone mounts use pinching. The magnet securely holds Mag-safe phones and cases. And it is so easy to attach the phone to it: no pinch or ratchet mechanisms to hold the phone, just a good strong magnet. The swivel has also held up. It is a little looser than when I first bought it, but still fairly stiff. Honestly, I love this. I am new to MagSafe and after doing a little bit of research figured out that there are car phone holders for my device. I found this one and based off the reviews I ordered it. I have to say this is the best ever! I didn’t realize how much I needed a car phone holder until I had this. First off I love how simple and sleek the design is. It’s not bulky at all and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I used the vent clip mount And I like that it sticks out 2 to 3 inches because it allows for airflow. Also brings the screen a little bit closer to me, which has been nice. The media could not be loaded. Super strong magnet. It works great!!! Just make sure your adjustable vents are thick, strong and positioned to fit properly. Vehicle vents are designed and positioned different. This way you know it works for you. I learned- make sure your vent for airflow is positioned just right before attaching your phone 📱 . Also, depending on the climate you live makes a difference for the dashboard mount. I always read reviews and won't even bother if the item has less than 4.5+ stars and at least 1000 reviews. It gets hard when there are so many scam reviews, or they receive the item free for a review, etc. I'm glad I chose this item in the sea of Magsafe iPhone auto holders! PROS: It looks and feels like great quality and it is very sturdy It clipped onto my vent easily and doesn't flop around AT ALL The magnet is super strong and really holds onto your device I can plug in and charge with no trouble or obstructions Many reviewers complained about it sticking out 2-3" as "an annoyance" but, the way I see it, it brings my iPhone screen closer allowing me to see easier and touch the screen should I need to And last, because it comes out several inches this allows for unobstructed airflow from the vent since I have a monster-sized iPhone 12 pro max that would normally make the vent useless I have been using it for 3 weeks now and have hit numerous potholes that winter weather left us with and it hasn't budged CONS: Ummm, hmmm, uhhh, Well...not a one!!! This is a great holder for the iPhone 15 pro max with a MagSafe compatible case! I just upgraded to an iPhone 15 pro max and needed to find a holder for the car. I did not want the cup holder, windshield, or dash mount style which left me with the air conditioner vent style holder. I was skeptical of these holder types especially with the size and weight of the iPhone15 pro max. My concern was will it hold my phone securely and will there be enough room for the air to come out? After reading the reviews and looking at a few photos I made the decision to purchase the 3-in-1 MagSafe car mount. It also comes with the option for dash mounting if you decide to mount it. I’m happy to say that the MagSafe was easy to install on the air vent and is very secure. Also the magnetic ring works with the MagSafe compatible cases and holds the phone securely.
