- Variable Temp Control & Air Volume Adjustment: When the temperature is 50 ℃ - 400 ℃, the size of air volume 1-6 can be adjusted arbitrarily. When the temperature is 410 ℃ - 500 ℃, the air volume of gear 3-6 can be adjusted arbitrarily. When the temperature is 510 ℃- 650 ℃, the air volume of 4-6 gears can be adjusted arbitrarily. You be able to press air volume "+" and air volume "-" at the same time to set the conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- Overload Protection & Spiral Air Outlet with Anti Scaldings Sheath: It is different with other heat gun,our two file switch design both can adjust the temperature.Heat gun also possess overload protector to avoid damaging circuit. Great with digital temp
I couldn’t be more pleased with this heat gun. Define detail and setting the heat. It remembering that heat temperature when it’s been unplugged so that you can pick up for you. Left off is great and else’s work well for the purpose of melting PVC together. It’s basically quiet, I typically run it around 1400°C. But it can go much higher and much lower and small increments. Break in period is required
After the initial 15-20 minute break in period the heating element does reach advertised temperatures, which I was able to verify with a digital thermometer. Read more

it's a great gun for heavy projects
I need a gun to heat fabric onto my r/c plane. Temp has to be close. Did a test to check temperatures. At 122F = 99F; 140F = 80F; 158F = 80F; 176F = 165F; 194F = 310 to 340F, & this was up & down, not a steady reading; 212F -400 +F, again, not steady. I gave up. I ordered the $134 Makita. If that does't work, I'll be back here w/ results. I'm going w/ quality in Makita's reputation. If not, I'll have to bite the bullet & order the recommended heat gun, cost $252. I can't afford substandard quality for this very expensive balsa wood bi-plane I'm building, 80 in. wingspan, WW1 fighter plane. The gun would be great for heavy work. I really liked the gun, but not for my hobby. I never ran the heat all the way up, but I could tell you could remove your warts if you needed to. A great gun for the purpose it is intended for, lots of hot air!! Read more
