It gets up to 1250 degrees and works as described. I use it without the attachments and have no issues as a mechanic. Can be used for window tinting, removing window tint, melting soft or even hard plastics, etc. just be careful which direction your aiming it in as it will get very hot and take a little while to cool off fully on the metal nozzle. It does have an easy to adjust temperature wheel on the back and a Low/High/Off switch on the back of the handle to make it easier to use. I would recommend an buy this one again if needed.
