Foster Grant mens Backstop Wrap Polarized Sunglasses Black Black 150 mm

These have become my signature sunglasses. I need polarized due to scored corneas. I'm hard on glasses as I am always knocking them off. They are very durable and are a good quality at a great price. I have Ray Ban’s that I paid 10 times as much for, and they got scratched IN THE CASE from the arms rubbing against the inside part of the lens. Ray Ban has been unresponsive regarding a warranty claim. A screw fell out of my Foster Grants and I had a lens break when the fell off my face. Foster Grant sent me a new pair no questions asked. I bought the first pair at CVS. The nose guard started deteriorating so I needed a new pair. I couldn’t find them in store so I was super happy to find them here. I will purchase again since the material on the nose guard doesn’t last long, but I really like them anyway. Read more

Good - Well made, comfortable, flexible, just the right amount of darkening. Bad - Not really a bad thing, but for driving, any polarized glasses will show annoying stress patterns in car windows. Read more

I wear these a lot, especially doing yard work. They sit close enough to the contour of your face that they provide some dust and chaff protection (though not sealing off your eyes altogether, like goggles would do). They protect my ancient eyes (I'm 77) from UV, pesky bits thrown by the riding mower, and when I'm erranding around Cape Cod, make me feel cooler than I am. Read more

I owned a pair of these for years and I absolutely loved them ! When my old pair were too scratched to wear any more , I ordered these replacements . They looked exactly the same as my old ones . But ... while wearing them for the second or third time , all of a sudden they felt loose . When I went to remove them, the lens fell out ! After only a few weeks of owning them and wearing them just a few times - the frame randomly split apart in a weird location .
