Solid feeling glasses, even when old. Foster Grant quality is generally very good, I have others, but this particular model has a more solid feel. As I've gotten older I've ordered stronger pairs, but the old ones are in perfect shape. Read more

Well worth the money. Blows away those cheap readers (or even more costly) versions from Wal-Mart and local stores. The optics are so much better! Cannot understand the bad reviews on quality and breakage. These are better made than anything I have had, however, they are "glasses" and are sensitive. I assume those who complain they broke may not have been cautious.....i.e. left them in a bag, purse, pocket, brief case, without a hard case to protect from being crushed or something. The quality is top shelf, however, yes they are "fragile" just like any pair of good quality glasses. Read more

Just received these glasses today. I have had several pair of Foster Grant readers over the years and they are always quality glasses. These came in a soft Amazon envelope and the readers came in an open package like would hang from a hook display. When I opened the Amazon envelope the package inside was crushed, thankfully the readers were ok. So far the readers seem to be the right magnification and fit good. I will see how they do with the blue blocking for viewing my computer. About Amazon shipment packaging...It is so hit or miss. Some fragile items like these glasses will be in a soft envelope and other items will be small in a big box with hardly any packing material and the box will be crushed. UPS is the worst about smashing packages. Read more

I have been using Samson GUN readers for several years and have found no other product that suits my needs as well. They are light-weight, don't fall off my nose when looking down, the metal frames are durable, and the 1.50's work perfectly for my computer work and reading. I am far sighted and it is easy for me to look over the top of them. And they fit in my top pocket nicely. Good form and function. The only issue I have had is the screws on the nose pieces sometimes fall out and are hard to replace. I hope Foster Grant continues to produce them. The last time I ordered a pair from Amazon I was sent something totally different. Read more

Caveat emptor. These are not the name brand. Cheap Chinese knockoffs. Wish I had paid $5 instead of $38. Compared the the authentic pair I was replacing, these are not the same quality. The pair I received arrived in a plain pastic baggie, brand label is NOT Goster Grant, lens is noticeably blue and does NOT change the light coming from my devices. Do not buy. Read more

Best pair of Foster Grant readers I’ve bought to date. I have them on as I’m writing this. I’m getting another pair in a different color. Great buy! Read more

I inherited a pair of these and I liked them, so I ordered the same pair from this website. The frame is designed well, but the lenses are not. I have not had these reading glasses for more than three months and they developed a crack coming down from the top of the right lens and the previous pair did the same thing. I thought since they are Foster Grant Glasses that they would be "durable," but I do not recommend these reading glasses for anyone to purchase because they are not worth the asking price due to their short time span of how long they stay "defect free." these are the pair that I try to keep at my desk for long time computer use. They are too heavy and will not stay on my head for walking around so I stick with my lighter cheap ones for that. Read more
