Skin allergies? Beware. Contains Nickel.

I thought that a stainless steel frame like this would not contain nickel so as to avoid allergies for people with sensitive skin, but I was wrong. This appears to be austinitic stainless steel. Which is to say, these frames contain around 10% nickel. If you are allergic to nickel, then you'll end up with a mild rash on your forehead from the frame rubbing against your skin. (Found a company online that sells titanium and hypoallergenic frames. Search for "titanium" and "optics".) Aside from that, these reading glasses are pretty good. I applied some clear nail polish to the stainless steel frame and now they're temporarily hypoallergenic (until the nail polish rubs off.) Read more

Sturdy frames! I like them.

These reading glasses are great. The frames are lightweight metal. The glasses really improve the ease of reading for me. Read more

glasses are smaller than advertised

Description of these glasses says that the lenses are 59mm wide. Not true. They measure only 53mm. There are two similar markings on the frame: "53" and "58.5". So, first of all, neither one of those is "59" as the description says. Also, I'm not sure which number is supposed to be what, but the "53" obviously means the width of the lens. I'm very disappointed. I need the wider glasses for my head. Read more

Absolute Trash/Poor Quality

Bought two pairs of these so I would not have to wait for another pair the next time I misplaced a pair. Both pairs were delivered and right off the bat one pair was BROKEN Inside shipping package. Have been wearing the second pair for about two weeks now. Today, the right arm/ear piece just fell off. The glasses then simply fell off of my face and hit the sidewalk-now scratched, useless and unwearable.. EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY GLASSES. Beware::t:: Read more
