Purchased these socks for my husband who is a hunter and spends from sun up to sun down in the cold woods at times. The socks are very comfortable, and kept his toes warm. Battery life did not last the entire day, but the wool socks helped keep his feet warm. I have not washed the socks yet, but the quality seems to be that would hold up in the washer. A real mixed bag but turned out to be unusable for me: 1) Batteries don't last long enough for me, only get 4 hours on the lowest setting. 2) It's impossible to see the heat level without getting off the bike, bending over and pulling the side of the sock There was so much going for them: 1) Wonderful fit and fabric, they hold their shape, are easy to get on, stay up and are warm even when unpowered 2) Heating elements provide very even heat and there are no wires or hot spots to hurt your skin Read more
My husband has huge feet and these fit him perfectly, like that the battery is rechargeable. These really keep his feet nice and warm for hunting ice fishing when he’s making firewood they are great. Read more
While the sock fits well and seems high quality. These are pretty warm even without the batteries powering the socks. The charging cable that came with them didn't work, had to use a different cable to get them to charge. As for warming from the battery, I was questioning if they were even on when they were on low/medium but they did seem to keep my feet marginally warmer.
