Great for theme parks or other popular locations where there are exchange machines. I use these at Disney as an emergency backup. Usually only get 1 solid charge from them, but then you can exchange it for a free replacement at their vending machines. No need to charge (but you can!). They are a little on the heavy side, but they are small in size, so they fit in my Disney bag easily. I’ve dropped them, and they’ve held up well. They also come with different attachments so you can use it with any device (charging different phones, portable fans, etc). If you were headed to Disney, these fuel rods are an absolute must! They fit perfectly into a Crossbody bag and come with multiple attachments for different devices. I removed the parts I didn’t need and just kept the fuel rod and my port. There are stations all around Disney property to exchange the fuel rods. I was able to get at least a half charge from one fuel rod, and I split the fuel rods between my husband and our kids so that we each had one that we could share between us. There was no charge for exchanging fuel rods, which made it very easy to get one whenever we needed and we never ran into a station that was empty, very functional and absolutely necessary because of how often the app refreshes when you’re in Disney. Perfect for Disney vacations. We use these when we go to Disney as they have stations around the parks that you can switch out a charger with no battery left for a new one that is fully charged.... and you can do that for free! Whenever I am helping someone plane a Disney vacation these are ALWAYS one of the items I recommend. I do wish the charge lasted a bit longer, but the fact that I can swap them out makes up for it. I recently bought a FuelRod Kit and have been impressed with its performance. The kit includes: A USB-C to USB-C cable, which I’ve used to charge my phone without any issues A USB-C to Lightning cable (Thunderbolt), which I haven’t needed A USB-C to micro USB, which I also haven't needed A USB-C to USB-A adapter that I have used with the USB plug that came with the Magicband+ for charging during a Disney World trip.
