I purchased the 20 pound and wear it around the house while cleaning and short walks. I didn’t experience the chemical smell other reviews posted. It is actually comfortable and I love the pockets if you wanna throw keys or money in while you are out and about on your walks. Just received this today -very heavy, seems to be built quite well. Only thing is it only has one buckle across the chest instead of two as shown in the photo. Once I put this on, I don’t think it’s going to be an issue, but I will update my review if it is. It also comes with a handy arm band for your phone or other small items. This vest is amazing. It’s comfortable and easy to adjust and did not have the strong chemical smell as others have reported it stays in place and doesn’t rub. I am able to walk briskly and or run in it which I appreciate. It’s easy to use while doing chores around the house and comfortable to do walking lunges or squats as well. I can immediately feel the difference of the slight resistance in my daily workouts and I ordered the 12 pound vest and it wasn’t intimidating whatsoever. Read more
