Very good product. One of the few that go up to 40 lbs and it's pretty easy to adjust the weight. I like to go with 20 lbs on a fast walk, and add weight for extra challenge. Love it. It could *maybe* stand for a touch more padding on the inner shoulder straps as thats where the weight hands, but even then it's not bad. Way better than the "life jacket" format ones with a chest bucket. Great quality and well distributed. Read more

Easy to remove or add the weights. 40lb is no joke. Starting at 20lb on 4mi for a few weeks to work my way up. Only negative is the side cinches don't stay as snug as I'd like. Read more

Comfortable with good weight distribution. Unfortunately, I have a 30" waist and could not get it tight enough around my waist even after maxing out the side straps. Other than that, no complaints, though probably best suited to those with slightly bigger torsos. Read more

I like to wear weighted vests to wring a bit more calorie burn out of walks and hikes, and this vest is doing a good job so far. I actually own another vest from FUFF (what a name, eh! And that prominent FU with the indecipherable crossed F's? At a glance it seems like I'm being antisocial, but what are you gonna do?) and I found that one to be very nice as well. It's a 15lb version of one of those sand-filled ones and it works well, fits well and stays in place well. Unfortunately it's an unfortunate shade of pink, which I tell myself is just for visibility, even if I have pondered on several occasions how I might paint the whole thing black. But I digress. The other vest was a hit, but I wanted more weight, so I decided to check out this one with the removable iron weights. I probably should have gone up to 30 or even 40 lbs, but I got the 20-pounder and still like it. In the interest of science, I performed an experiment: a standard hike with the new vest stripped down to only 15lbs to match my old one. The idea was to get more of an apples-to-apples comparo to share with the interwebs. And I'd say it did very well. The padded shoulders are nearly as comfortable as the sand-style vest, and the side straps enabled me to keep the weight as snug as I liked. Of course I sweat something fierce with both of them, but it is what it is - I expect to work up a sweat. So that's it. I think FUFF did a good job with this weighted vest, and it's doing nicely for my use case. I like the black better than other neon pink one, but I have noticed a few side-eyes from folks who probably think I'm some gun nutter playing pretend GI Joe in a tactical vest. Shrug. Read more
