Red dragon knockoff better than the original. The mechanical keys were too sensitive (I play MOBAs), so I wanted a membrane keyboard. This one fit the bill. The thing that makes this beat out the Red Dragon are the dedicated media keys. For my use, I need volume up, volume down, and mute, as well as play/pause, track forward, and track backwards. All other media keys are extraneous. This has them all right along the top of the keyboard. It also repeats all of them on secondary function keys (which doesn't make much sense, but Redragon does that too). None of the Redragon keyboards available have all of them on dedicated keys, instead wasting valuable real estate on dedicated lighting keys (who needs to change colors on the fly?!). I need to mess with my media on the fly when gaming, so this keyboard really nails it! The key feel is just as good, as is the anti-ghosting. The lights are equally mediocre. They're not going to light up your world, but they will let you see the keys in the dark with a variety of colors and patterns to choose from. I bought this mouse and keyboard for my first ever gaming PC that I built. I wasn't interested in buying a top of the line product so I just went with a cheap $30 option. I'm very impressed with this! It feels so premium for the price. I love the mouse, it's smooth to touch and easy to use. I love the keyboard keys, they aren't loud to type on and feel nice to press. The lights on the keyboard are very eye pleasing to look at and you can turn them off to conserve power at the press of a button. The brightness is just fine and don't need to be brighter. Overall I have zero issues with this keyboard and mouse combo, it's definitely worth having. 5 star worthy but docking the Keyboard a star for not being controlled with the RGB via the PC, and something I just realized I had it set for a blue color to match my blue from the tower and because we had a power loss it went back to rainbow colors so it don't remember what color you set it for after it's lost power. The clicking of the keys is nice at the same time in quiet room with others sleeping it's not to loud and works great for gaming since that's what I had bought it for. Brightness isn't so bright you hate it as a matter of a fact you'll almost forget it has RGB. It is your standard size keyboard at the end of the day. With the weight and pads on the bottom of the keyboard it stays in place nicely. Read more

I bought this simply to have a backlit keyboard for my desktop computer for office work in the early morning and evening without need an additional light turned on at my desk. The keys make sound but are quiet and non-clacky. I love the many options for back lighting. There are a variety of colors to choose from, it can circulate through the colors or maintain one color or can be dimmed. I didn't think I would care for the option with all the colors displayed at once but it's actually quite pretty. The functionality for turning the back light on and off during daylight hours is handled through six keys (Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up and Page Down) with the function key which has a different tactile feel to help locate it in the dark. Don't let the price fool you, it a nice keyboard! Has loads of RGB options with no software needed. Just keyboard shortcuts, nice. Keys are soft touch and no clattery nonsense. You can turn the RGB to anything you can imagine. It's Plug and play or plug and play? I'm using it with Linux, Windows and OpenBSD with not one problem! It's a good daily driver too. You can turn all the eye candy off with one button and get working. You will be very happy with your purchase. I play online and am pretty hard on the keys, handles it like a champ. I bought one of these in December 2020, so it lasted about 4 1/2 years. I have no doubt it died because water got spilled on it -- a lot of water -- which rendered many keys inoperative. Without the spills, it might still be going. This is an excellent keyboard for general use with a computer. It may well be excellent for gaming as well, but I wouldn't know. I find the backlighting fun to look at. Beyond that, what can one say about a keyboard? It is full size, connects with USB (the cable is attached, not separate). It does not have a touchpad, but I don't use touchpads, so that is no problem. Read more
