Why did you pick this product vs others?: Product works well. It function as described, easy to install. I just wish I had gotten the bigger model for better cooling but that is my fault, I figured our SF incorrectly. Will be moving this to a bedroom and getting a larger model for the garage. Read more

I really had high hopes for this. I live in a very small older 1Bdr duplex about 550 sq feet. I have central air, but the furnace is super loud when it runs, and I was hoping this unit would keep the living room where the thermostat is located cool enough. so the AC doesn't constantly kick in. Unfortunately it doesn't even bring it down ONE degree!! It has been very hot and my thermostat was showing 78° this morning. After turning the unit on, he temp has been going up with it running ALL day. It's 84° now. Also the exhaust tube running out of the window is expelling such" hot air" it makes the whole area behind the unit and tube hot!! It almost defeats the purpose???I wish I could return it, but I already threw the box in the trash. Oh why, Oh why, was I that stupid??? The temp. keeps going up in my room and the unit is sucking up my electricity. I paid almost $200 and I'm so upset. Read more

This machine is weird. The thing for the window doesn’t fit. If you put the number to 64 on cool it doesn’t cool and will push warm, but if you put it to 90 it gets cold. It makes noise from time to time like a fridge. It’s in the heavy side. I had fun getting it upstairs. Read more

Arrived in a few days. Install was very easy and straightforward. Very easy to operate and is very strong for its size. If you need a basic portable A/C for the price this is a great option. Only thing missing is energy saver mode but I don’t mind for what I am using it for. Read more

Here’s the skinny: this is LOUD (decibel meter maxed out at 76 decibels with 73 average—far above the level of a conversation) and this thing didn’t cool. At all. It actually warmed up the room. Also, the tubing it comes with and the exhaust adapter don’t work for windows that open vertically because the adapter is so wide it won’t sit above the sill, and the controls have zero effect other than power on/off. But it works as a heater in the summertime. The air temp in my workshop went from 78F to 82F while it was on and back down to 78F after I turned it off. Read more

Update 7/29 This AC almost killed my baby. And of course I'm two weeks past the return period. The hose popped off the back of the unit in the middle of the night and my daughter's room temperature rose so fast it could've killed her. I have fought with this hose and the window attachment since day 1 to stay put. I had to buy an adapter kit for the window because the one that comes with it is too short for any window that has an actual sill. If we could return this and just get a window unit we would. It's just okay. Hoses for window are cheap and the actual panel for the window frame are tiny. If you have a deep sill, you will need to rig something up to use this or buy a replacement set. AC makes weird scratching noise from what sounds like a fan when running but overall is pretty quiet. Cools a 10x10 room efficiently but struggles if the temp is above 75 and humid outside. Probably wouldn't buy again since it has zero features worthy of the cost that other floor units have for $40 more. Read more
