For sub $20 gas spring monitor arm, it serves its purpose well. It feels sturdy and holds up my 15 lbs monitor without issues. The VESA mounting plate is separate from the arm so you can mount the arm on a desk first then slide the monitor on the arm for easy installation. The articulation is limited to height, horizontal position and horizontal tilt of the monitor. Since the neck is not spring loaded, vertical tilt is in a fixed position once the bolts are tightened. If the monitor is too heavy, your monitor will be facing down (it won't be able to keep its head up). Read more

Bought this to mount one of my work monitors and it's been great so far. Setting it up was really easy and you can tuck away some cables into the arm to keep your cable management looking clean. This is the second one I've bought in a month... For a good reason! You could use the deskstand that came with your monitor, but if you want your physical desktop back, buy this desktop/deskmount for a single monitor. I have attached a 27" 4K monitor. I liked it so much, and the price was right. With this second one, I only used the adjustable arm and now have two fully adjustable 4K monitors stacked above my laptop screen. My desk is a mess, so no photos at this time. It's easy to assemble. It is sturdy; I have two 27" 4K monitors attached to the single vertical pole I used from the first purchase. The range of motion is excellent. One of my monitors is a little older and has a larger bezel, so I adjusted the tension on its arm so it would stay in place. (Yes, the monitor was under the max weight specified for the arm :) ) But hey! with two 4K monitors, it's like having EIGHT FHD monitors connected to my laptop. And since the arms are fully adjustable/extendable, my viewing distance to my monitors and my laptop are roughly the same distance :) Read more

My review has a lot more to do with what this SHOULD do, rather than what it does. In short, it's exactly what you would want out of an affordable monitor arm; with the exception of it not having the height to make this product worthwhile. Pros: - Great value - Great instructions - Includes all hardware/tools - Good built-in cable management solution Cons: - Hard to adjust without help When adjusting this arm, you have almost NO in-between with the adjustment screws. It's either securely fastened, or completely loose and your monitor will reflect that change immediately by crashing down to your desk/swivel very uncontrolled with great speed out of nowhere. Adjusting it after the fact involves an awkward movement of trying to hold the monitor in perfect position with one hand, while trying to use a weird/small hex-key or screwdriver to secure the screw in place. A better product would have some wiggle room allowing you to not have to fully support the weight of the monitor while securing the aforementioned screws. - Does not lift your screen high enough This point is very important when it comes to desk ergonomics. You will essentially spend your entire time using this product with your head slightly angled down to look at the screen. It's minimal, but adds up during extended use. For anyone who works from home or games using this, you should look for something with more vertical height. You should be able to look straight ahead with the cent of your monitor directly at eye level, and you can't really achieve that with this product. Read more
