Purchased to put in my 2004 Nissan Altima. I've tried every damn holder in this car. I was losing my mind! My dash sucks, it doesn't shine after you use car cleaning stuff. Like at all. Don't care what brand etc. Nothing will stick to it, not even when I tried to use an epoxy glue for a phone mount! No lie. So I'm short dash is long and the interior setup doesn't allow much for options that don't block your vision or cook your phone even when heats off etc..so this arm legit is out of field of vision, I have it tucked practically down to my engine on the glass, and the wand bends and shapes so you can sort of hide it from view. And this thing has options for where you want to bend it etc it's not flimsy. This comes with this mini arm holder/support piece that has a flat sticky end to be sure your phone isn't budging or doing the bouncing thing you sometimes get. But course in my case damn shit won't stick to my dash, so I need to get crafty. Magnet is strong, as well as the ones that it comes with that you had to your phone. Instructions should be more easier to grasp. But this isn't just for commercial trucks! Read more
I rely on a strong magnet for my heavy phone and case, but my new Cadillac CTS Coupe has an unusual dashboard layout and the usual vent clip units don't grab hold like they need to in order to work. Saw this while scanning the offerings and thought it would be pretty close to the right length for what I had in mind. I was wrong, this was EXACTLY the right length! Once I "dry-fitted" it to its intended position, bending the flexible material to follow the curving lines of the dash, I attached the suction cup to a very low part of the windshield with the length of this lying nestled in the indentation between the two parts of the dash. The resulting position of the magnet is about as close to perfection as it could be. My phone goes on easily and naturally snaps to the magnet and sits exactly where I want it to be. Can't say anything about longevity yet, but we shall see. As it is, I highly recommend it. Read more

One box opened and tested out of 4 orderrd, not as stable as the dedicated windshield mount, will returj for refund and buy the other version same brand used 8 of those in last 7 years, better mounts Very good magnet but i still prefer the dedicated windshield version that has always worked for my 3 cars in last 7 years.
