I’m honestly impressed with this blender, especially for the price. I purchased it mainly to make desserts like flan and to grind my own confectioners (powdered) sugar, and it has performed better than I expected. The glass jar feels sturdy and well made, which I really appreciate when working with warm ingredients. I used it to blend a Puerto Rican–style flan (with cream cheese), and the mixture came out smooth, creamy, and well combined without having to overblend. The low-speed options are great because you don’t want too much air in flan, and this blender gives you good control. The grinder attachment is a huge plus. I used it to turn regular granulated sugar into powdered sugar, and it worked perfectly. It ground the sugar evenly and finely, and having this option saves money and trips to the store. Just letting the dust settle before opening is key. Power-wise, it’s strong enough for ice, fruit, and grinding tasks, yet not overly loud. The multiple functions make it versatile for everyday kitchen use, not just desserts. Cleanup is easy, and the self-cleaning feature is convenient after sticky mixtures like caramel or custard. Overall, this is a great value blender for home baking and cooking. It’s ideal if you like making things from scratch, especially desserts. For flan, sauces, sugar grinding, and general blending, it does exactly what it promises and feels like a solid addition to my kitchen. Read more

This blender arrives neatly enclosed in a colorful product box, with each component sufficiently supported by foam to ensure that no damage occurs during transit. Included in the box is the base machine, a pitcher, a grinder jar, a cleaning brush, an instructional booklet, and pamphlets providing information on troubleshooting and the extended warranty. The base of this blender is nicely weighted, feels durable, and is attractively designed with glossy black, stainless steel, and dark gray colored features. The bottom has rubber feet that help to keep the device firmly in place on a countertop when in use. The pitcher is made of thick glass that feels very sturdy and is easy to wash. The glass part can be run through the dishwasher, but unless you promptly remove the blade attachment after the dishwasher cycle has ended, it seems that washing this by hand would prolong the life of the device. The top of the pitcher is plastic and includes a feeder spout so that you can easily add ingredients while the blender is running. The grinder jar is made of what feels to be a thick acrylic plastic and seems sufficiently durable. The controls located on the base allow you to switch between five different settings including milkshake/ easy clean, chop/salsa, puree/smoothie, liquefy/ ice drink, and ice crush, which also doubles as the pulse button. All of these settings performed as expected and nothing I made seemed to be overly taxing on the blender’s motor. When using this blender, the first thing to note is that it doesn’t turn on by pressing the power button. That button, the first button on the left, only works to turn the blender off when another button is locked down. All of the other buttons work fine. Also, if you do not have the pitcher or grinder perfectly aligned and locked in place, the blender will not turn on. While correct position is a standard safety feature for most blenders, this one makes it challenging to get the pitcher locked into the right spot. Once you think you have the pitcher in place, if the blender will not turn on, give the pitcher another small clockwise twist and then it will noticeably click into the correct position. The pitcher will only fit in one exact position, with the handle to the left. As a right-handed person, I don’t love this, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Lastly, it is important that when screwing the blade base onto the pitcher or the grinder cup that you make it as tight as reasonably possible. Because getting the blade part locked correctly into the base requires a fairly tight fit, it is very easy to accidentally unscrew the blender or cup, while leaving the blade part stuck on the base. This creates an epic mess. As a final note, this item has fluctuated significantly in price, with the current non-sale price over 35% lower than when this was ordered. When items are introduced at a high price and then quickly reduced to a much lower regular price, this makes me question the value of the product. As such, when the pricing instability is combined with the other noted challenges, four stars is the highest rating I can justify. Read more

This blender is excellent and replaces an old Osterman that stopped working. The glass jar part is absolutely huge; it reads at 52 oz, and I can believe it. It feels extremely sturdy and high-quality, and it’s a nice upgrade from plastic since it doesn’t retain odors or stains. The size is perfect for making smoothies, soups, and shakes for multiple servings. Like the grinder attachment or feature or whatever, is absolutely great. I use a LOT of coffee, and my coffee grinder is dying, too, so this will be a nice space-saver. Nine different functions, which most people will never use to be honest, but if you actually read the directions - this’ll make ice blend drinks, smoothies, fruit purees, baby foods, chopped vegetables, spice mixes, and even crushed ice. The motor delivers smooth, consistent blends, with or without ice. The self-cleaning function is another big plus—just fill the jar to about halfway with water, add a drop of soap, and run the cleaning cycle. Cleanup is quick and easy. Read more

When i tried to use it the first time I had a number of issues. Couldn't get the base to twist into the motor. After it finally DID twist in, I couldn't get it out again. I was making a milkshake. I started noticing leaking down the sides. In my attempts to twist the blender part out of the motor base, the plastic stayed in and just the glass separated out. Milkshake everywhere. I registered for the warranty and also notified them of the issues I was having. I have not gotten a response as of this posting. I don't think ill be using this again. Read more
