Very nice addition to balance the lighting in my apt living room. Plus I hand sew from time to time and it's been a great remedy to see my projects more effectively to repair. I inserted one of the bulbs yesterday and it is working great, just as it should. BUT, I was doubtful whether it would work at all because it wasn’t packaged very carefully…two lightbulbs, each in its own small bubble-wrap bag, being tossed around inside a box on a truck! Hopefully both bulbs will light (on all three wattages) for many hours as advertised!! Read more

I have ordered two of these GE Incandescent 240W Soft White A21 3-Way Bulbs (1 Pack), rather costly at approximately $9.00 each; and, I have used one of the two. The one that I did use was nothing like the old incandescent bulbs of the past. Perhaps I received a faulty product. It sparked and burned out not long after I started to use it. I know it's possible to make good incandescent bulbs, as they worked great many decades ago and lasted a lot longer. Obviously, I won't be reordering more of these, as this product was a fire hazard. Not sure what I'm doing with the other bulb that I'm not using since I've had it a while. Read more
