Top notch. Tons of fun, old school duck & cover shooter. Toxic masculinity at its best. Comes with multiplayer mode that’s not a tack on as many were when Gears was developed. Multiplayer has a learning curve that’s not very steep. Easy to get the basics but takes awhile to get good especially because of Xplay with a lot of Xboxes who have the experience & a community who have never stopped playing. So it can be tough at first…but hella fun. This is my first gears game. I’ve only owned one Xbox that broke after a minute & I only played Halo. Even though this is a 2006 game it looks great, runs exc on PS5 Pro & again, a lot of fun. BTW I see no reason why the regular PS5s would have any issues running the game. You’ll certainly love this game if you enjoy the early 2000nds run, gun, shoot & cover type games like Killzone, Deus Ex, Uncharted, Resistance, MAs Effect, The Division etc etc. Gears WILL be a joy for you.
