I have many pairs of OTK boots in my closet from brands like Aldo, Steve Madden, Fashion Nova, and more. I also own several other heels by this brand, Genshuo, as well so I was excited when I saw that they were offering an OTK boot. I ordered the black suede version in my normal shoe size of US 8.5 and waited excitedly for them to arrive! When they arrived I took my time opening them as I wanted to be able to return them if needed as finding OTK boots that fit my calves can be a challenge. One item I noticed right away was that each boot has a short side zipper to make putting them on and taking them off easier. So the moment of truth had arrived and I slid my foot and leg into them and to my surprise and delight they fit perfectly!! The top of the boot that sits on the thigh has a strip of silicone or similar material to help grip your leg and keep them up. I normally wear hosiery with boots so I find myself having to pull my other OTK boots up every now and then, and these are no exception. Perhaps if I had a thicker thigh or went with bare legs the strip would grip better. The quality of the boots are good and they are quite comfortable even after wearing them for several hours which I did shortly after I got them for a friend's bachelorette party. I found the heel height perfect as well as it is high enough to make a statement but so high that it is impractical or too sexy for office wear. I have worn them several times to work and many other events and they have quickly become one of my favorite pairs of OTK boots since they didn't cost me a fortune which makes the fear of damaging and having to replacing them, less. They only thing that I can see might be an issue is the top off the boot not staying up if you have slender legs and thighs.
