The design of this product is first rate. At age 81, I have owned many nail clippers. All have been pretty much the same, basic clippers that require quite a bit of pressure to nip my nails and often slip from my hand as I press them closed. I have to be very impressed with a pair of clippers to take the time to write a review, but I think that people need to know about this gem. This product is actually engineered for ease of use. The leverage created by the design, combined with the sharpness of the blade, makes for an effortless clip. Its shape and surface texture allow for a firm grip and little chance of slipping from my grasp. There is a little slide tab on the underside that locks the clipper after use - a nice safety and storage feature. Read more
