Easy to install and works... So these work but as others have stated the water filter seems to give an odd taste after six months of use (in) my case it has been six months. When the odd taste began I could smell chlorine in the water a small trace. Oddly enough the next day the water had no smell for a while but now the chlorine trace is always there. I have never faced such an issue with a third party water filter having such an issue even after one year of not replacing it. I am not sure if I got defective batch of filters or it is just the way these are made as to last only six months. As others stated I may also have to spend more and get the actual LG filters. Good deal on these water filters. We have an LG fridge and the price for these on Amazon is better than buying from the website. They last us about 6mos before needing to be replaced. Like this package deal that includes the air filters. Easy to install. Great instructions. Clear water that tastes good. Minimal water leakage when old filter is removed which is normal. Follow instructions and discard 2.5 gal of water when new filter is installed. I just collect the water and use it on my plants so it isn’t wasted. Read more
