I heard about this brand in Anthony Bourdain's book Kitchen Confidential (great book by the way). My spouse had been complaining about dull knives. I bought her this. SHE LOVES IT. Her only complaint, if you can call it one, is the knife is so sharp it cuts in to cutting board. I especially loved this purchase because it came with a sharpener that's very easy to use. Read more

If you get the Knife sharpener combo just throw the sharpener out. Please you will thank me later. get a diamond plate to keep your knives sharp. all that thing will do is tear it up. the knife is amazing, you really can't beat the quality for the price Read more
These are the best knives. Hands down. They cleanly and easily slice through tomatoes, raw meat, etc and make cooking a joy again! We registered for a set of high end Wustoff knives that quickly dulled (despite sharpening and honing) and have replaced them all with these Global knives! Get the sharpening tool too- keeps them nice and sharp! Read more
Knife edge has chips, scratches from using the knife sharpener, and has developed rust spots. Been using this for the last couple years amongst other knives that I’ve had for over a decade—none of which have these issues. Probably not the best quality and hardiness of steel. Read more
