Gold lamp - shade is beige

The lamp base is beautiful, very heavy, and feels like great quality. The white marble with gray looks elegant, and the dimmable feature is a great option to adjust the lighting. It also comes with a 10-watt bulb. The listing photos always show the lamp turned on, which makes it difficult to see the true color of the shade. In the photos, the shade appears light and almost white. In reality, it is clearly beige - not soft linen. Even when the lamp is lit, the shade still looks noticeably beige, which is quite different from how it appears in the listing pictures. Unfortunately, the beige tone does not complement the white marble base with gray veining. There are no beige tones in the base to tie in with the shade, so the overall look feels mismatched.
