I really love these socks and may need to order more! I couldn't believe how soft and comfortable they were. I liked that they weren't too thick. While I like a cushy sock, it can make your shoes fit a little too snug. These were the perfect amount of thick weave without taking up too much space. My feet are on the smaller side in length--but not in width. These fit well and don't get crunchy when washed and dried like other socks do over time. They fit comfortably above the ankle, which is nice because I hate socks that rub against my ankle. The weird mesh bit is unnoticeable, they feel like normal in that area. I wish they made womens goldtoes in all cotton (these are polyester) but honestly, replacing some old socks of the same type (because I lost them, lol) these do fine. No wonder they're a cult classic. They press in a little at the ankle band -- enough to leave it a little red-ish and itchy, so just try to make sure your feet get a break if you're prone to that! They're comfortable enough that I wear them long enough that that happens -- speaks volumes about the socks for me. My shoe size is somewhere around a 6/7 D wide (if I remember correctly). Read more

Zoned cushioning, I respectfully disagree. These socks are definitely thinner than what Gold Toe has been in the past. I wouldn't say "arch support " but a nice snug fit, throughout the day. Cushion and support are medical necessary features, for me. While the cushion is not ideal. This are good socks. Read more
