I ordered this device to see how effective it is at assisting me in keeping my lead wrist flat. The construction of the device is solid and well done. Velcro is strong, elastic band is strong as well. The stiffness and stitching are very well done too. So why only 3 stars? No instructions come with the device - only the images in the ad for the device indicate how it is to be worn. (minus 1 Star for that). The images in the gallery about the product show that it helps by preventing “flipping” and “chicken wing”. When wearing this brace, flipping is in no way hindered by this brace and can easily be performed. Additionally, the dreaded “chicken wing” is only barely influenced by this device but not prevented in the least. (minus 1 Star). Pros: - Well constructed Cons: - Does not prevent flipping or chicken wing as advertised Final recommendation: This does help by getting you to “feel” if you are bending the wrist too much at the top or during the downswing. So, for that, it is useful however, it does NOT prevent flipping or chicken wing in the downswing. Buy this if you need help in feeling the position of the wrist in the backswing or downswing.
