I really can't give these headbands fewer than five stars. They weren't quite right for me, but they are still great headbands. I'm a grown woman, with thick hair below my waist, and these headbands, while still quite sturdy, were made more for little girls, I believe. They are extremely narrow, and I really wanted something wider. My bad. Even though these headbands are quite narrow, then are flexible and sturdy and very comfortable to wear. I do wear them around the house, and they stay in place. So, I will continue to wear them until they all wear out. These headbands provide great value for the money, especially if you are buying them for a child because the children in my family, at least, are always losing their headbands. If they lose one of these, you have a spare, and at this cost, it's a shame to lose one, but not a big deal. I mean it's not like they lost a diamond! These are very cute headbands, but I'll still continue my search for something wider that is a better fit for my thick, long hair. But for around the house, these can't be beat. Read more

I really wanted to like these headbands because they’re simple and lightweight, but unfortunately they didn’t work well for me. They constantly slid off my head and wouldn’t stay in place for very long, even when I tried adjusting them several times. Because they’re so thin, they don’t seem to grip the hair very well. These are the only headbands that I can comfortably wear. (Narrow rectangular head.) They curve out away from my head in a too-wide way which works well for my curly hair because it doesn't crush it. At first, the flexible tips are a bit too tight and does cause an uncomfortable ache above/behind my ears. I adjust the tips and expect to wear them for just a few hours each day for the first 2 -3 weeks. Over time they relax and become SUPER comfortable. This inexpensive plastic product doesn't last forever, the soft tips melt away over time and the plastic is prone to breaking under force. Still, I love these and rely on them almost every day.
