I have been using the machine for a few days. Set up was very easy. It’s compact, easy to use and looks very stylish in my kitchen. Can we talk about the price for this expreso machine? It works and looks be a commercial expreso machine. My friends keep asking me where they can buy theirs. Terrible machine. I really loved the idea of being able to use different pods, however the machine does not work. I used Dolce Gusto pods as that is what I had and I could not get the machine to work for several tries. I completed trouble shooting and realized it was the drawer fit that was the issue. I finally got one ‘long’ pour that was so tiny and luke warm and it did not taste like it usually does. Yes the machine directions say you can adjust the heat level and size of the pour, but it is just not worth it. Way to fussy and touchy for the price. Also there are four coffee pod trays but there is only storage for three. This is going right back and I am off to shop for another machine. Read more
Might was not the lucky,water pump has internal leakage .Luckily I am technician so I manage repair the leakage. As coffee machine is doing what it is saying .Nice coffee and you can use any type of coffee . Quick delivery .Only reason i am giving three stars because of the pump's leakage that i have to open the covers find it and luckily as i said fix it . Read more
I first tried this machine with Walmart brand Nespresso capsules (I know, but I'm a college student and they're cheap) and it was a disaster, the machine leaked from the capsule drawer and the back of the dispenser area and then all over my counter. Then I went and got the Kroger private select brand (slightly better) capsules, and the machine worked perfectly! I did have to reset the presets for the short and long shots because the short was giving me 4oz and the long was giving me 8oz, but it was easy enough to set to 1oz and 2 oz. I also like to add milk straight from the fridge into my coffee, and I had to up the temperature setting as well. If I find the other capsules start to fail, I'll update my review, hope this helps! I bought this machine because the price was reasonable and I needed a Dolce Gusto machine as a backup (they're not making home Dolce Gusto anymore). I was surprised to find how well it works, on both Dolce Gusto and Nespresso. I'm now hooked on the Nespresso original capsules Trader Joe's sells (10 for 3.99). The only issue with this machine, it doesn't work well with ground coffee... the tray leaks or brews mostly water. Read more
I sent this one back, it just didn't deliver on quality or what I was hoping it would do. I initially purchased it hoping that I would have a lot of versatility but it has problems with refillable pods and is sketchy with off brand pods. Also the compartment for ground coffee is hard to tap out or clean because of the way the lid is placed. So as a money saving machine it didn't work well for me. If you have the money to buy name brand pods and only drink a cup a day it might be a good machine for you but just not im my household. Read more
Great machine! It was smaller than i expected which I love, it has a professional, neat look but doesn't take up too much place on the counter. You cannot fit a very tall cup in the machine but I love that you can program how much water should come out and the machine remembers your preference. The machine takes different types of capsules, with different drawers for each one that neatly store away in the machine itself when not in use. The choice of different heat levels is also a great feature. All in all I am very satisfied with this coffee machine. Read more
I wanted to love this machine because of the other reviews but unfortunately either I received a dud or there's something wrong with my process. First, the machine doesn't work well at all with ground coffee. I've tried many different grinds and different roasts (I love coffee and make great cups in my Aeropress). The machine makes light brown water that tastes like plastic. I've run the machine for a week now and every cup is poor. Haven't tried any capsules yet as I don't own any and am not going to waste cash if the machine can't press ground coffee. I've contacted support and have not heard back, so I assume this is going back to Amazon. I did want to love it, the size is perfect and the external build quality is fantastic. I've wasted at least 40 teaspoons of high end coffee so far in a week -- and of those 40, only one cup was drinkable. Read more
