This mixer's design and performance is better than mixers in higher price brackets, and is the best handheld mixer I've ever seen or used. It's even better than some standing mixers I've had in the past. I believe this mixer was designed by someone who actually uses mixers. I have fibromyalgia and a degenerative joint disorder that makes even stirring my coffee a difficult task on many days. This mixer has varying speeds that really are varying and cover a large range. The whole process of setting up, to using, to cleaning and to storage, is fast and easy. The dough hooks actually do what they're named for, as well. Read more

I love this mixer. The price was wonderful. It came w/a bread mixing attachment which I love. It really helps me mix bread up with no problems. I couldn't afford an expensive bread machine....then I saw this and went for it. I love it. Great product !!! It's got 6 speeds and Turbo mode - powerful 300 watts. It's easy to hold in your hands and use. I was very impressed with this product. It's a little power horse!!! Thank you for a wonderful product. I love making bread again now!!! Read more

There seems to be little difference between the lowest and highest settings. Of course, the beaters spin faster at the higher settings, but not by much. Very odd. I'm not even sure it will whip cream to the required stiffness, although I haven't yet tried. It's also fairly heavy, compared to my old Black and Decker hand mixer. On the plus side, the motor is quiet and the hand mixer sits very stably on the counter top. The beaters seem well-made. The light doesn't really matter to me, but since it's LED, it won't heat my dough while mixing, which is a good thing. If the light heated my dough, this mixer would be returned. I'm keeping the Gourmia, but will continue to use my old B&D until it dies. Read more

I've been using this mixer for the last 2-years with my Wife and it has held up well. We've made pancakes, cakes, and other things with it. It's very well made as most Gourmia appliances are. We paid only $34 for it and it was worth the money. It works well and has adjustable speed settings. If you want an inexpensive high-quality mixer I'd go with Gourmia since they're not expensive and they make high-quality kitchen appliances. Read more

This is a wonderful mixer..the beaters snap in with no problem..it's not overly loud like others..even the lowest speed does the job fast and easy..flour doesn't fly everywhere..turbo boost is fast! Eject button is easy to use..and I've never had a mixer with LED lights! It honestly makes a difference.. doesn't matter what lighting you have, these mixer lights let you really see what your doing. I have nerve damage in my hands and fingers and had no problem with any part of this mixer..I absolutely love it and highly recommend it! Read more

Strong enough for dough but not great for anything more than a small batch. Compared to other mixers costing much more the dough hooks are heavy duty and they only fit one way so you can't get them backwards. The LED lights are actually nice. It sits up on end without falling over. The cord is long enough. The beaters fit in a small clip that attaches to the bottom if that's important to you (I put mine in a drawer). This is the mixer I would recommend. Read more

Sure, it would be nice if the slowest speed were a bit slower. But it works. My main purpose for this hand mixer is to avoid using a stand mixer for a small batch of bread dough. And this mixer fits the bill perfectly at a very reasonable price. Read more
