This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Colors are great, use the Ai voice and simply tell what colors you want, and whether solid or moving up and down. Very easy to use. Tip: during assembly process, know that the supplied screwdriver tip is magnetized, the screws are small, but the screwdriver is equipped to easily handle the task. This is a great floor lamp for both adults and children. I got this for my child's room (elementary age) and the settings on it are dim enough that I can use it as a fun night light without it being too bright. You do need wi-fi and a phone to download the Govee app so you can change the various light settings. The Govee app also requires an e-mail account for registration purposes. If you don't have a smart phone, the default light setting will be the normal light (white) color. To have the fun settings, you need to connect the app to your wi-fi. The settings vary from various holiday themes to lights that move with the beat of songs playing in your room, to creating your own light color themes to standard white lights (varies from cool white to warm white). Making the lamp was fairly easy, and took about 10 to15-ish minutes for me, and it includes a small screwdriver for the screws. It's a great lamp overall! Read more

The lamps look great! I bought 5 of them during the black friday event. They are plenty bright for my application. The app is okay, not super intuitive but it works. I linked everything to handle through the Google Home app, which is a nice feature. The colors are well saturated and having the adjustability to change the colors is very nice. However, I'm rating it a 4/5 because I've had to reset each lamp at least once by now, and it's only been a month. It keeps failing to connect to wifi so all the lights don't turn on per my automations. A quick network reset gets it back in working order, but again, I've had to do this to all 5 lights at least once. All the lights have also been updated to the newest firmware so I'm not sure what it would be. I have essentially the same lights from nanoleaf and I haven't experienced that issue yet with them, so I'm not too sure what's going on. For the value, I think the 55 dollar price tag is slightly steep considering how much they've malfunctioned for me. I don't think I will be buying them at full price. Read more

This lamp is exactly what I wanted. It was so easy to put together, and fits great behind a chair and doesn’t take up much space and is not tipped over easily. The light can be bright or dimmed and is very good quality. I love playing with the remote control on my phoneand changing the light patterns, you can even do custom patterns. This thing looks great! It's not overly bright, but it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to create ambiance, not light up the whole room like a traditional lamp. Even still, it keeps a good amount of area lit, regardless. You can use the Govee app to control the colors and brightness. It's a very easy to use, intuitive app with lots of control settings. If you have their LED strips, you'll likely already be accustomed to the app - adding the floor lamp is easy as long as you have location enabled on your device. The instructions are pretty straightforward, but if you're having trouble with them, there's YouTube videos that show the lamps construction. It is pretty easy though, so you shouldn't have trouble with it. The construction of the product is solid, and it will hold up well for sure. No issues there. This is definitely a solid product, and will add a nice aura, or "glow' in the corner you place it in.
