I put the larger rug on my bathroom's porcelain tile floor for comfort just out of the shower or while standing at the sink. It hasn't gotten very wet yet, so I can't talk about absorbency, but the loops are a nice medium height and softness. I saw a chenille rug at a store that was so "springy" it felt overdone. I put the smaller rug at my kitchen sink to lessen back ache because it can takes 20-30 minutes to wash my vintage dinnerware and glassware by hand the floor there is also hard surface. I’m so close to loving these. They’re very plush and so, so soft. However, they’re not even remotely nonslip. They’re constantly getting ruffled up (you can even see it on the rug by the bathtub in my photo) and need to be fixed all the time. I’m most concerned about someone slipping as they get out of the shower. I did order some non-slip strips to try underneath them. It’s not a great solution, since tossing them in the laundry won’t be as easy, but it’s worth a try since I do like the rugs otherwise. Read more
