At first, when I saw this tablet holder for microphone stand on the website, I was concerned at how tightly it would fit/hold but to my surprise it fits most tablets nicely, including iPad 9.7" and 10.5" too that I have tested on for the very first time and it was perfect fit. I haven't tested it on 11" or 12" tablets but I think it has room for bigger tablets too. This tablet holder seems like its very well made and the spring tension is strong. I used it to set it up on a mic stand (please see photo attached) with no boom and it works perfectly. It is very easy and fast to setup on mic stand too. I use this for a mic stand with no boom. The adapter that came with it works perfectly for my needs. I just measured the opening at it's largest stretch and it measured just over 12 inches and at it's smallest 7.5 inches from corner to corner. This one should accommodate almost all sizes of ipad except the mini. It is spring loaded and very snug on my 2 ipad's. I have seen some reviews that complain about their other models breaking so I can only hope this one holds up. Read more

My previous iPad holder clamped to a mic stand slipped, couldn’t tilt as much as I wanted, and it was bulky to transport. The Grifiti Noodle holds the iPad securely, being diagonal it’s narrow for transport, the threads hold it securely to the mic stand, and the tilt and angle covers any situation from vertical to horizontal and anywhere in between. (The box was funky - it was a for a camera tripod with “mic stand” taped over it. But, the bonus is you can attach a camera or a tablet to to a camera tripod or to a mic stand.) Read more
