I bought this stand to use as an iPad music stand. It is light weight. It packs easily into it's cloth case. It is solidly sturdy. It holds the iPad securely without movement. I can change the page with a simple swipe but I use a foot pedal: PageFlip Cicada Bluetooth Pedal Automatic Page Turner. It's like magic, i.e. it works like a charm. There are sturdier stands but they're heavier. This stand was exactly what I needed. I can take it to gigs, unpack and set it up quickly, pack it easily, and return home to set it up for practice. I love it: simple, elegant, easy. Read more

I just purchased this product, so can't really speak to durability, but so far I am very pleased with it. It is sturdy, but also reasonably lightweight, easy to set up and take down, and folds up compactly. I have a 9" Ipad Pro and it fits very well. It is a bit of a challenge getting the case to zip shut with both the stand and the mount in it, but it works and will probably get easier as I get used to the configuration. I play the mountain dulcimer (which is held on one's lap) so wanted a stand that could be set low enough to see the music while also watching my fingers on the instrument. This seems to be a great solution. Read more

The stand has been working great. I was disappointed by the carrying case though. The stand fits in it just fine, but the universal tablet holder does not. As a working musician, I use this stand at performances. I had to find a separate carrying case/bag that was able to fit everything. Read more

Just set it up. Seems ok for what we need it for- light video production, personal use, etc. It comes with NO directions what so ever. Although set up is easy, it is unclear how to mount the roller ball mechanism to the ipad holder because there is this white plastic washer that needs to be removed, however it was on SO TIGHT that I needed pliers to get it off and I only knew it had to come off by watching a YouTube video from some random person that bought an older version of this product. I hope this helps someone who had the same trouble I did and wasted 20 minutes figuring it out. Read more

This works great for filming my on tape auditions as well as filming my talk show web series. It holds my iPad in place and lets me angle it anyway which way. Read more

the piece that holds the iPad up broke completely after 3 uses. I guess the glue that holds it was low quality. Junk Read more

I used it to record roller derby bouts with my iPad mini. It's easy to set up and to rotate. The clip that holds the ipad doesn't fit in the carrying bag but it's not large and fits in with other bags I may be carrying. I also plan to use it to hold my iPad mini at outdoor festivals in which we sell items and use Square to accept payment. It should be sturdy enough and tall enough to do so. Read more

Well, its pretty flimsy. I added weights near the bottom since it topples so easily. The plus to this thing is its light weight. And that's perhaps it? I waited to review until I used it a few times. Kind of a pain to screw the top on and then getting the iPad in. Also, the legs don't move that easily to unfold/collapse. While its more stable when used at its lower positions, my needs are to have it at just about height limit, since I use it to hold iPad for music and singing. Perhaps its good for using for iPad if using as camera, but I can't imagine its any easier to shlep this for that use either. I'm sorry I didn't purchase a boom mic mount and universal holder. That may be heavier and more expensive, but at least it would be more solid. Read more
