GuMosh Dual Coil 15W Car Phone Holder Not Easy to Disconnect Wireless Car Charger -Auto Clamping- Charging Phone

I love it despite some minor flaws. First off it doesn’t come with a power adapter so unless you are using a good adapter the thing won’t charge at 15w like it says. I plugged it into my adapter that has Both a USB-A and usbc. I didn’t charge fast until I used the usbc port. You need a 20w power adapter to take advantage of the 15w charging. If you use the usba and a cheap adapter you may be stuck with 7.5w. The mechanism that grabs your phone and tightens it automatically works well. One issue is if you put your phone in upside down the mount clamps automatically and calls 911 because it holds down the right buttons on my phone 13 pro max. Other that that it’s wonderful. If you are looking for a car charge that will charge super fast you need wired but this will charge fast enough for most people. I do delivery work so my phone is on the entire time and this charges a bit faster that the phone drains. No wireless charger is super fast because Apple limits them to 15w and 20w for some new models. Droid the same the software limits them to charging at lower wattage. It’s also the best vent mount I’ve ever used and actually stays put without treating apart the vents. Worth every Penny I wouid of been happy even if this things costed me $50. It works!!! After a disappointing purchase with another item, I found this charger for my Motorola Stylus 2025. I specifically chose this item as it has "dual" charging coils which made sense to me. Phone "alignment" appears to be a critical element when using a "wireless" charging option. If a phone is placed in a charger and the coils do not match-up withing tolerance, then charging will not happen. (This happened with my previous item which was returned.) Not only that.... There are the physical capabilities which are integral to placing the phone into the holder itself. I am very happy to report the "grabber arms" on this model were fully able to extend wide enough and then latch-onto my phone. (even with a case on!) The unit comes with a vent clip AND a circular suction mount also! So now I have multiple mounting options! I must admit, I am very pleased with not only the performance, but also the fact that everything WORKS!! Very nice unit and am so pleasantly surprised to have found this item. Works great! I have been using this for months including all throughout a hot summer. It doesn’t budge or start dropping down where the adjusting options are. When I first got it, it was super simple to install. Just pop it on the windshield and press down the tab to secure it. It stays where you put it, even the angled parts. Because of the various options to angle it, it did take me a few tries to figure out what was going to be the best spot on my windshield. The photos I am sharing are my set up in my jeep. Because of all of the options to adjust it, it was also a good fit in my daughter’s car and my husband’s (two completely different cars from different makers and decades) thus proving to be pretty versatile. I did have to use some persistence to get the suction off to be able to readjust it until I found the best position. But that goes to show you how once it is installed, it is going to stay! One feature I particularly love is that it opens automatically to set your phone in. It is also super easy to release. I have had others with similar styles and options but these features have outshined those. I appreciate how it charges my phone, how the suction stays in place and the adjustable bending points also stay in place (others would randomly drop down or stop staying in place at all). Like I said, I bought this before summer and it held up through the heat and roads with pot holes that you swerve to miss only to hit a worse one you did ‘t see coming. So I’d say it’s pretty durable. I owned a phone holder made by another manufacturer, and it was noisy (it rattled), and one of them broke down to where one of the hinge points would not hold the weight of the phone. This new phone holder works well, and feels much more sturdy so far. The phone barely moves at all. I did have to trim away a notch in the rubber on the right side as it was pressing on the volume button on the phone, which is inside of a transparent case. The holder also seems to charge the phones well. There is one issue, however. There is a battery (or capacitor?) inside that allows you to remove your phone while the vehicle is not powering the charger, but it does not last long enough for it to work reliably. We own two of these phone holders, and both have the same shortcoming. Most of the time, if the phone holder sits overnight, there is not enough power to clamp on the phone the next morning. Yet shorter term, only an hour or two after first using it, it still holds a charge. Read more

Superior mounting strength. Without even waiting the recommended 24 hours for proper adhesion, it is really difficult to get unmounted. It has optimal points of articulation and holds its position well. My favorite feature is the double coil charging. Basically guarantees that you get a proper charge no matter how it is seated. I havent used it enough to say if it is genuinely worth the money, but if it remains as functional as it is now, it is an absolute steal. Read more

This mount does not stick to my dashboard at all no matter how clean my dash is because my dashboard is not completely flat, but has small curved and a textured surface. It won’t stick to a textured dashboard or to a dash that isn’t completely flat. The description also advertises wireless but it comes with a wire that you have to use to even get the mount to open or else it won’t fit your phone. I would not recommend buying this.
