The media could not be loaded. My wife just loves anything that is pink so, although she already has a dryer similar to this one, it isn't pink, so I decided to get this one for her. The color is really nice, it's sort of a pastel looking shade, not a bright, shiny pink. This dryer is relatively compact and easy to hold in your hand, especially those with smaller hands. The dryer is sized well for travel purposes, not taking up a lot of room such as full-sized dryers do. But don't let its size fool you, it's up to the task of drying, in relatively short time, ANY hair, whether thick, thin, long or short. There is an included concentrator which attaches magnetically to the front of the dryer. It has two speed settings - low and high - and also three heat settings - cool, warm and hot. It comes with a generously long power cord, and there is a ground fault circuit built into the cord. This is a great safety feature as most of the times, dryers tend to be used in the bathroom which inherently is a moist environment. The dryer is said to emit negative ions which are supposed to promote faster dry times as well as cut down on the amount of "frizz". My wife's other hair dryer is similar in design, and she says it definitely doesn't create as much static electricity as others she's used, and she swears her hair feels softer and more manageable. So far, she's used this one 2-3 times and she's super happy with how it performs. Regarding the quietness, it's a good bit less noisy than regular dryers, but it still does put out some noise. It has a brushless motor which should help it hold up for quite some time. Most all of your higher-end tools have brushless motors in them, they're higher-priced but tend to outlast those with brushes in them. These aspects considered and for the other design functions mentioned, is why this dryer is priced more on the higher end. But, to me, it's worth the extra cost when you take into account the quality and functionality. One feature I really like is it has a filter screen in the bottom of the handle which can be removed and cleaned. This is nice because most dryers have a screen in the back of them where the air comes in and over time. hair, dirt, dust, etc. can build up there and restrict airflow, or even cause the dryer to overheat. Then you have to use an old toothbrush to remove the crud! Twist this cap off, remove the filter, you can wash it, wipe it dry and reinstall it. Overall, this is a really nice product. This hairdryer works, amazingly! It works almost just as good as my Dyson hairdryer. I love the light baby pink color that it came in. It’s very feminine looking. The cord on it is super long and does not restrict me to one tiny area when blow drying my hair. It’s very easy to operate and very lightweight feeling in my hands when using it it dries my hair very quickly and fast, causing no heat damage. Read more
