I'm recovering from an injury so I have to blow dry my hair standing up and this was the only hands free stand that was tall enough for that (I'm 5'7"). It's very simple to put together and adjust to the perfect angle so I think it's worth the $35. The only critique I have is I wish the end piece that goes around the blowdryer was adjustable. The way it is now you just slide the handle in and it hangs there without being totally snug. Although the buttons sit right in between the gap of the holder so if it were fully closed around the handle it would cover the buttons. So I'm not sure if this will work with every style of blow dryer depending on the thickness of the handle and location of the buttons, but it works with mine and when it's hanging down at an angle the way I have it setup it's not an issue that it's slightly loose. It doesn't move around and I leave it setup like this 24/7 and it hasn't fallen or moved at all. I love this hairdryer stand. It's nice to be able to adjust it to any height in angle that I need. It worked really well since I was only able to use one hand to dry my hair because of a shattered wrist and hand on the other. I would definitely recommend this product. Read more

The attachment doesn’t really fit my blow dryer. It’s also not very secure and falls over frequently. I thought I could use this to get my hair laying nicer like in the salon but it’s really not that easy. Essentially wasted money but I do see this as beneficial if you were disabled and needed it for extra assistance. Read more

Okay, I admit I don't write many reviews. I feel, if I like an item that meets all of the targets promised I will give it 5 stars. If not I will return it and give either no or a 1 and write a short review. This stand is amazing! All parts are well coated, everything fit together easily and I am pleased it holds my heavy 15 year old hair dryer. (Hey, it ain't broke so no need to buy another one.) It is very stable on my counter and I can also adjust it to sit in my chair. I am so happy I now have two hands to style my hair. Before I got this, I hated drying my medium-long hair. It was such a pain to hold the dryer in one hand and try to style my hair with the other. Now, my hands are both FREE for styling, and the process is so much faster and more thorough. Yes, as some of the other reviews say, the base isn't very stable. A heavier base would make it less wobbly. I would have been more than happy to pay a little more for the product to absorb the extra weight manufacturing and shipping costs. And the reviews of the product would be better, meaning that the seller would be able to sell more. But, since that's not an option yet, I'll have to figure out another attractive way to make it more stable. The rest of the item is well made and solid. Bottom line: every time I go into my bathroom and see the dryer in it's stand, it makes me SOOOO happy that I'm able to save time and have perfectly styled hair! Read more
