I have owned many coffee makers over the years. I 💕 love this one. I can use my Pod-cups or it has a basket for regular ground coffee. It is a tad noisy but I can live with that. I can brew a large 12oz coffee in a jiffy. I do use bottled water. My well water is wonderful but has a bit too many minerals for a coffee maker. I had 2 of the more expensive brand coffee makers, one leaked and the other conked out after a year. …You need this❗️🙂 Read more

I like the single cup pot for my computer room. Coffee comes out just fine. Be sure to push coffee pod down well or pot will not work. The on switch is a bit odd as it comes on above circle, but it works. Coffee tastes fine. Read more

It is difficult to clean, and requires cleaning every few days because the plastic and aluminum pods clogged the needles and often explode in the pod holder making a huge mess! Using compostable pods will eliminate the problem but they are most costly. I have several other Hamilton Beach appliances that are fantastic. Last week the coffee maker started acting up - turns off before full cup is brewed, and sometimes doesn't get hot enough for any water to drip. I couldn't get appropriate help on the seller's website so I called and reported the problem directly to Amazon, who is crediting me for the purchase. Also, their customer service does not accept phone calls - you do everything by email and the process is slow and rather pointless. I like it a lot.. with two options of coffee strength and a higher water capacity than a lot of them I’m happy with it. The pump sounds strong and dependable(unlike the keurigs which sound like they will break at any moment ) The height of the unit makes it much more convenient for travel mugs and tumblers. Read more

Very impressed of the speed of brewing a cup. It brews in about 2 minutes for a quick cup of very good tasting coffee. About twice as fast as my old machine. I also like to use it for hot water for afternoon tea. I still Need to start trying the machine with fresh ground coffee as I loved the flexibility of being able to not have the waste of the k-cups and choosing the best tasting coffee beans. Read more
