I like many things about this mixer. All of your utensils are in the case and you don't have to search for them. The variety of speeds you can use, plus the burst of speed. The variety of utensils, especially the beaters that can be used with non-stick cookware. I can now use a non stick pan to cook and mash potatoes. Since I use the mixer several times a week, I just leave on counter and the case looks good enough, you don't feel like you have to hide it. Read more

Really good product, and was perfect for my nice plastic bowls as these are rubber tipped not just metal. I will say that these are great quality, however not too long ago I had some very tough cookie batter and had to put the mixer on high for just a minute and it burnt out. I broke the mixer! Had to buy another - but guess which one I got as a replacement? This one all over again! Just going to be more careful next time about how long it's on high. Read more

This mixer does not bog down when mixing still doe, or thick liquids. It is easy to clean, the rubber beaters do not knock material from the sides of the bowl into the batters. You could see where the metal beaters were damaging the sides of the tupperware mixing bowls over time. The easy snap and story has all the attachments right were you need them when ready to use. No more looking in this drawer or that, Read more

I would never order a product this cheap due to the fact that I believe you get what you paid for...BUT I paid for an expensive hand mixer by Viking first and had to return it immediately! I couldn't even get two beater bars to go into the machine at one time?? One would go in but then the second was blocked for some reason from entering the hole?? So I tried for an hour to figure the darn thing out but finally gave up and returned it the next day! I went back to Amazon and this time I purchased one of the cheapest hand mixers to see if I had better luck this time and due to the fact that after much research I found out that THIS hand mixer actually has one of the STRONGEST motors in it than the more expensive ones!! So as soon as it arrived I couldn't wait to try it out. First of all two beater bars go in at one time...HURRAY!!! And the darn thing works beautifully! One special thing this hand mixer has is a Power BURST button on it. While you are mixing your food you can hit the power burst button and it makes the hand mixer go into turbo drive for a as long as you need! GREAT function and I love it so far!! Not bad for under $30 and I would definitely recommend this mixer to others. After writing this review - my husband tried to use this hand mixer last night on mashed potatoes. All of a sudden he says " Oh oh - I think the motor is burning up!?"! I asked him why and he said to smell it - it smells like it's burning up! Sure enough it did! It definitely smelled like burning plastic. I am so angry about this and just finished writing my above review just hours before! I can't believe this was happening! I just used it one time before for mixing liquids for making a home made ice cream. So I had not used it on something like mashed potatoes. Now my old Cuisinart has been making mashed potatoes for over 8 years and we NEVER smelled anything like that before. It's weird that I had a funny feeling that I should keep the box for some reason. I am so glad I did! I am putting it in the box and sending it back ASAP! I have had it! First the Viking won't work and now the Hamilton Beach! I guess I should have read and paid attention to other people on Amazon who recommended that I buy a Kitchen Aid. I guess I will but I swear if I have a problem with a kitchen Aid I'm going to just give up!! I do have the Kitchen Aid 6 QT Stand Mixer but it's such a hassle to take out and use it daily. It's too big to keep on the counter so I wanted a new hand mixer for quick jobs...especially mashed potatoes and ice cream that I make so many times a week. Now what mixer should I pick this time?????????? I am getting so tired of this! Read more

This mixer is stylish looking and easy to clean. The snap on case is a nice feature, especially since it holds the accessories. What I didn't like was the mixer doesn't have a low speed. The lowest is still too fast. And if you use the higher speeds the mixer gets hot. A so so product. I would recommend it only as a second mixer. There is no comparison to a stand mixer. Read more

I first tried this on cookie mix, it blended it so well. Second I tried it on cake mix my batter was nice and smooth it didn't leave any chunks and it got the job done fast! Its a little heavy but its great. I highly recommend it and its easy to clean the rubber mixers and the case it comes with is perfect storage. Read more

I love this hand mixer, but must agree with other reviews - there is no slow speed. It is powerful and light weight, and the two sets of beaters and whisk are wonderful. You cannot beat the price and quality - great container for storage, and marvelous feature that it grips the bowl. If you don't mind the lack of slow speed, this is the perfect mixer. Read more

Have had this mixer a while. It's well made and works great except, like others have mentioned, it has NO SLOW! Spews thin batter everywhere! I am now getting ready to search for one with a definite SLOW speed. Read more
