I've been wanting a steam cleaner for household cleaning for quite a while, so I grabbed this one to run it through it's paces and give it a try. I was initially impressed with the variety of attachments you get as it's a great value. I poured some water in and got started. It didn't take long for the water to heat up, and I went to work trying to break up some lime scale around the kitchen faucet. It worked pretty well and got rid of most of it. I also had the opportunity to use it to get off some sort of sticky gunk that was stuck to the concrete in our basement. Again, it worked really well and took it up with relatively little effort. Overall, I was impressed with the quality, variety of attachments, and it's cleaning power. The only drawback I found was having to stop routinely to fill up the tank with water. That became a little tiresome waiting for it to heat up the new batch of water to get started again. The media could not be loaded. I bought this handheld steam cleaner because I wanted a chemical-free way to deep clean tough spots around my home, and overall it has been very useful. The high-pressure steam is the real highlight. It cuts through grime on tile, grout, and bathroom surfaces much better than scrubbing alone. I also appreciate the safety lock—it gives me peace of mind when using such a hot, powerful device, especially during longer cleaning sessions. The included accessories make it versatile enough for kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and small corners. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. Hot water and steam can escape from the top while in use, so you have to be careful to avoid getting too close, as it could scald you. The manual is pretty basic and doesn’t explain much, especially when it comes to which cleaning agents, if any, are safe to use. I ended up sticking with plain water to be safe. I do wish it had an on/off switch instead of relying on unplugging, and a longer power cord would make moving around easier.
