This DD cream is really nice for everyday wear. It feels lightweight on the skin but still does a good job evening out tone and blurring pores without looking heavy or cakey. The semi-matte finish looks natural - not flat, not greasy and works well on its own or layered with a little concealer. Shade 23N Natural Beige blends in easily and looks like skin once it settles. I’ve used this for a month now and here is the tea: the shade that I purchased was a tad lighter than expected. I’m more of a true 22N in terms of color. The coverage was nice, the feeling was a bit heavier than what I’m used to. It felt more like a BB cream. Bonus, it did not oxidize & change color! It can settle quick if you’re using a thin layer. It has a natural matte-like finish - not very dewy. My t-zone and chin gets oily throughout the day and this product will break up in those places - unless it’s set this with a powder. This is a very pigmented full coverage foundation in funky flat round packaging. The finish is matte to satin, looks very natural on my oily combination skin. However, LESS IS MORE! I can't stress that enough. Unless you want your face to look like a lifeless mask use very little of the foundation and blend with your fingers into the face. I literally used one tiny drop for both my cheeks and one micro drop for my forehead and chin. The color match was perfect. It matched my neck exactly and I had no demarcation lines on my jawline. I have very cool light skin with pink undertone. 21N light beige matched despite the foundation being more neutral rather than cool. The microscopic amount of foundation was enough to even out my skin tone without giving me some ridiculous mask coverage. Another very important point is to moisturize deeply and use sunscreen before the foundation to allow it to lay better on the skin. Dry flaky skin will look worse with foundation on top. This product did not emphasize my pores, but that was because I applied so little of it. Application is best by just using your fingers, not a brush or a sponge. I found that a brush would lift my skin flakes and make things look worse. Overall I really like this foundation, and micro usage will make the product last a year or even longer for me. I wanted to like this foundation because Hanskin has a great reputation for hybrid skincare formulas, but this one just didn't work for me. The Code-On DD Cream Foundation in 23N Natural Beige feels very heavy and silicone-rich, with a texture that sits on top of the skin instead of blending in. It left a shiny, almost waxy finish that emphasized texture rather than smoothing it. I prefer foundations that look seamless and skin-like, where I can still see my natural skin showing through, but this felt more like a traditional full coverage base than a breathable cream. Silicones don't typically bother me, yet this one had that dense, occlusive film that made my skin feel coated. The fragrance is also very overwhelming. It's a sharp, powdery floral scent that lingers and irritates my sensitive skin, leaving it red and itchy. For me, that's a deal-breaker in any complexion product. The shade "Natural Beige" pulled noticeably orange on my fair skin and oxidized slightly as it set, which further added to the heaviness of the look for me. To be fair, however, it's not a match for my skintone. To its credit, the formula does contain skincare-inspired ingredients like niacinamide, adenosine, and hyaluronic acid, which could appeal to those who can tolerate fragrance and prefer richer, full-coverage finishes. But for anyone with reactive, fragrance-sensitive, or fair skin, this particular foundation may feel too heavy, perfumed, and mask-like to be comfortable for daily wear. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I have tried several Korean foundations in the past, and the color match is always tricky for me. I'm not a straightforward fair, light, or medium skin tone, I am somewhere between the three. I eyeballed this one and might have come up a bit short. It's very, very light, but could possibly work with a LOT of blending, or as an under eye concealer, which is a pro. The other pros are the coverage. Applying to the back of my hand, I can see that this is a very full coverage foundation. It doesn't feel sticky or oily, it's not heavy. This is more of a serum foundation and feels very lightweight. It feels like nothing on your skin, and isn't obvious to the touch that it's there. There's also a light floral scent to it, but I don't mind. It's actually quite lovely! As for longevity, it DOES NOT BUDGE. No matter how hard I rubbed, it didn't transfer. It was actually pretty tough to wash off, too. This is definitely a long lasting foundation! Like, all day into night, even without a setting spray! That alone tells me that it's worth any price... I would also like to note that the packaging is really unexpectedly cute! It's round in shape, so I naturally assumed it was a cushion foundation, but no! It is a round bottle with a twist off cap, not what I was imagining it to be, at all! That was a pleasant surprise.
