The media could not be loaded. I am a fitness coach. I have a name brand 65cm ball that I bought at the turn of the century. It developed a leak, so I was on the market for a replacement. I liked the non-slip patterns on this one, so I decided to give it a try. Pros - This is a good quality ball. I have a few other products from HapBear and I have been happy with them so far. - The kit comes with everything you need to get started plus a few extra pins just in case. - There is also a small user manual that has a few exercise to try if you are new to using a ball and it has a some tips on how to care for your ball - The texture on the ball did help it be non-slip. I tried a few things on the to test it. I did not sip, and it did not slip on my tile floor. - The kit comes with a few loop bands. They are all on the lighter side (xlite thru medium), so they are good for doing pre/post rehab or small for muscles (like rotator cuff). I used them with one of my rehab clients to do side steps with and they worked well. Cons - They provide a paper tape, which I thought was really nice, until I realized I was not sure what it was for. The name brands (at least used to) provide a tape or some other ribbon so you knew when your ball was inflated up to the right circumference. This is waaay too short for that. Plus it is paper, so it wouldn't be good to use for body measurements. so I am not sure what it is for. - If you want to fit in a workout, use the supplied pump. I know it is typical for these balls to include a little pump, and they work, but be prepared to take well over 30mins to inflate the thing by hand. I tried it to make sure it worked. It did. After about 5 mins I got bored and used a real air pump. It took less than 5 mins to inflate it. - The users manual doesn't give you any tips on how much to inflate it. To me that is an important thing to know. But they did at least give you a manual, so kudos to Hapbear. (Sooo many pieces of equipment come with nothing. So if you have not used said piece of equipment before, you are stuck doing a search on their competitors' pages). Watching the video I made, mine could probably use a little more air. - It smelled plasticy coming out of the bag. You will need to let it outgas a little before using it. Overall, I am happy with this ball. It is a thick material and the quality is on par with my old one. It would hold up in a busy gym. The cons are minor. I would recommend this and I would buy it again should I need a second one. REVIEW SUMMARY: My goal for each review is to list both the pros and cons of the product as I see it. - I reserve 4 (like) and 5 (love) star ratings only for products I would either recommend to others or buy for myself. - 5 stars are specifically reserved for products that excite or amaze me, are exceptionally high quality, and/or work perfectly. - 4 stars are for items that mostly work and that I like, but there are some improvements that could be made. - 3 stars (it's ok) I would recommend with reservations. There are some positive product features, but the product has a/some major issues or flaws that I would like to see resolved first. - 2 (don't like) and 1 (hate) are for items that don't work or quickly fail. For items that fail, I like to contact the sellers first to resolve the problem as it may be a manufacturing issue. I genuinely love everything about this exercise ball, from the color and size to the flexible PVC it’s made from. The anti-burst design was a huge selling point for me, especially with cats in the house who have a talent for putting their claws into absolutely everything without thinking. Knowing it will safely deflate instead of popping gives me real peace of mind for both them and me. I use exercise balls for more than just workouts. It’s great for toning and stretching, but I also love using it as dynamic seating while gaming, working, or even tinkering with my 3D printer. It naturally encourages better posture and keeps me moving instead of sitting stiff and slouched for hours. One thing worth mentioning is the included pump. Unfortunately, it was completely useless for me. It had issues or outright broke multiple times before I finally gave up and resorted to blowing directly into the hose with my mouth, which was… exhausting, but effective (apparently I have decent lungs). I’d strongly recommend using a proper air compressor, or at least a hand or bike pump if you have one available. Even with that small frustration, this has been a fantastic addition to my space. I’m really happy with this exercise ball overall. The quality feels solid right out of the box but it took quite a while to inflate with the included pump. The pump is not very good, very flimsy. Once inflated, the ball feels thick, sturdy, and secure, hopefully anti-burst as advertised. I feel comfortable sitting, stretching, and doing core workouts on it without worrying about slipping or it suddenly losing air. The surface has a nice texture that helps with grip, especially during yoga or balance exercises. The size is accurate, and it holds its shape well after multiple uses. I haven't had to repump it yet. I don't really care about the extras that come with it though like the resistance bands. For the price, it feels like a great value, especially compared to similar exercise balls. Overall, this is a solid, well-made yoga ball that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I got the grey colored one and it's nice. If you’re looking for something reliable for home workouts, posture improvement, or physical therapy, this is definitely worth buying. Read more
