This review is for HAPBEAR Yoga Blocks 2 Pack - 9x6x3in High-Density EVA Foam Being relatively new to the yoga-fitness realm as an older woman, I never gave one thought to the gripability of yoga blocks. I mean they're all the same, right? Ah, well I've learned, that depends on what you're using them for, and yes, it matters. For me at least as a beginner, these serve as a way to make poses easier and bridge gaps until I can perform the deeper, more advanced poses. I like that they are super sturdy. Again, I never thought much about a yoga block having hand grips, but when for example I'm doing a modified downward dog, being able to grip onto the "handle" makes me feel much more in control and able to listen to my body over fearing I'm going to wobble and crash. That's important, because so much of fitness I'm learning IS in our minds and going slowly as we progress. I also do a lot of floor functional NRE type work, and work on my feet and arches so in that regard also the stability is appreciated. In that of course I don't use the grip side, but the regular, flat side. They are a fairly good weight, so I again I don't fear tipping when I'm standing on them. That being said, sometimes I do find that I *want* the softer blocks for foot training because the goal is to force stability in the ankles and arches, not having it provided for me. For reference, I am 5'7" and wear a size 9.5 Xwide women's shoe. Get yourself some toe-yoga socks while you're at it, and you won't regret those either. (Fourloo Brand/6 pr) I compared the measurements of these blocks to some "regular" that I bought awhile ago, and while they are the same dimensions 9"x6"x3", for some reason these HAPBEAR brand feel larger. This pack also included a small, spikey roller ball for muscle knots (hello rhomboids!), and a stretching strap. Although I will tell you, the strap is NOT stretchy at all. It is solid, and the hand/foot holes are very small. Maybe a person could let a child use this to encourage fitness and stretching or what I did with it is over my head and back for shoulder blade/rotator cuff motion. Just know it's not a stretch strap in what we're probably expecting there. November 2025, these come in at a cost of $30 for 2 blocks. I've found that your everyday "plain" blocks are much less expensive, so the value in these again, will depend on what a person is using them for and/or hoping to get out of them. I will say these blocks, while "textured" aren't themselves what I would call a grippy texture, it's more an ultra-fine pebble texture, barely noticeable on the surface, but it does seem effective in preventing slippage. These blocks do work pretty well. I don't think they'll last for an incredibly long time, but they're still pretty good. During my testing, I noticed the blocks would start to compress. They are sturdy. I love the grips added in because they help me maintain balance. The bands work well, and I expect I'll get the same amount of use from them if I were to purchase them separately. The "Hapbear" font on the bands comes off pretty much as soon as you stretch them for the first time. I opted to stretch them and a bit of rubbing alcohol to remove the rest of the font. The coloring of these products is all true to image. I like the ball, but I wish it were larger. Overall, I would say for the amount of items you're getting, it's worth the price. Note: Even though I recommend this product, I am still listing it as 4 stars, because I'm not certain how long it'll last since it does compress. I still believe it is worth the price. Read more

I grabbed this set mostly for the blocks, the other items included were just a nice bonus! The blocks are nice with the cutouts on the one side. Some instructions or tips would be nice - I just practice at home and don't take actual classes so I do my best with the apps I like best but they don't use any accessories so I don't really know how to best benefit from all of these products. The resistance bands are like other bands, you get 5 different resistances with these and each is a slightly different color. The strap thing....i have no idea how to use it or what to do with it. Each end has a large enough opening for both feet to fit in and then all along the middle there's 6 more little loop openings/handles to use for something. It's well made, is heavily stitched so it's not going to fall apart easily or anything. The roller ball is very hard rubber and it's TINY. Maybe the size of a golf ball or a teensy bit bigger than that. I have tried using these and they just hurt no matter where or how I use them, so that's the one part of this set that I didn't need.
